Parish Announcement: I am taking a couple of weeks off from trading over Easter. Recording of trades will resume on Monday 16th April.

EUR/USD 15 minute (flat £10 per pip)
Note I work with additional filters:
Both MAs below trendline for a sell, or above for a buy
Some degree of separation between the MAs
Don’t trade off a large bar (think this is in the manual anyway) of around 20+ pips long
Don’t trade off a large move in either direction as you should never trade the end of move (new)
This seems to result in 1 trade per day. At the end of the trial I will summarise my entry times.

The average odds of this service are such that it is vital that you keep the strike rate up. To do that you cannot afford to miss any recommended bets. I have received emails at 22:08 and 23:11 for games that kick off early morning (example 3 a.m.) the next day.

I have just been recording the odds as advised in the email, and not checking these against Betfair. I will, from now on, check that the advised prices really are available and adjust the data accordingly.

Looked like a positive day until Ath Madrid scored in the 89th minute.

One week in and not the best start to the trial. Only the second losing week since I began running these selections with real money.
A week into the live blog there have been 91 selections with 27 winners, a strike rate of 29.67%.
Now the interesting point is the average odds in the last week have been 3.66 for all selections, above the longer term average of 2.90. The 27 winning selections in the last week were at average odds of 2.76. This is how the poor week and particularly last Saturday has given a bad start to the trial. Let’s hope the next week brings a balance to the winning odds and overall odds seen in the long-term results.
