Football Value Selections

Day 40:

Even with a massive game in the premier league tonight there is very little to go at. So there are no selections for today.

This ends the month of April. A month that has seemed very trying and difficult to find winners but a profit of +16.92 while being my poorest month so far actually makes me even more confident in the selections. When the going got tough the selections still made a profit.

I have decided to run the selections to the end of most of the domestic seasons around Europe, which takes us half way through May.

DreamLays

INTRODUCTION

Over the next two months, from 1st May to 30th June, I shall be trialling the DreamLays service.  If the name seems familiar, I trialled it around 18 months ago and it didn’t do too well.   Since then there have been major changes: the maximum lay used to be high (17.00 from memory) providing a roller coaster ride.  Maximum odds have now been set at 3.00.  I would expect that the strike rate would be much lower, but the ride should be a whole lot smoother too.

Headline results on the home page are based upon £100 stakes, so profits look very impressive.  Based on the assumption that we don’t all have bottomless betting banks, I shall be recording the results to £10 stakes.  The FAQ page recommends a bank of 50 points, which would give a £500 betting bank and I am comfortable to use that.  With maximum odds of 3.00, that means risking no more than £20 per lay.

Using the 2011 figures quoted on the site (and assuming I pressed the correct buttons on my calculator), to level stakes a £500 bank earned on average £240 per month.  For the first three months of this year, that figure is £280 per month.

I will be recording results at BSP, as this provides consistency.  However, real world commitments mean that I will not be posting results every day.  I will post as frequently as  possible and results will be posted for all advised selections.  Using BSP, my results should be the same as available from the site.

Sprint Lay Expert

You may have noticed I’ve had a link in Current System Tests for Sprint Lay Expert for quite some time. In fact it’s been there since I got this system exactly twelve months ago.

I thought I would test this system for the whole season before writing up a review and that’s exactly what I’ve done.

I opted for the lazy approach and got the selections e-mailed to me each day, but when you buy the system you’re shown exactly how to find the days bets and this comes with a video tutorial too. So you can either work them out for yourself or go for the daily selection service.

So how did it do last season?

Well, there weren’t a huge amount of bets but it managed a profit of £812 to £100 level stakes, which is fine, but if I had used the staking plan that comes with this system, that would have been a profit of £2,078 using a £1000 betting bank.

That would have tripled the betting bank in one season, and looking back over previous years, it would have tripled the bank on average for the last six years.

The staking plan is non-aggressive, so it doesn’t attempt to re-coup previous losses on the next bet which is, in my opinion, suicidal with lay betting. But it does seem to be very effective in maximising the profits from this system so I’ll certainly be using it this year.

The system/service has been relaunched today, ready for the start of the season tomorrow, and I have no hesitation in giving this an Approved rating. Six years results can’t be ignored, and I tested this personally last season, although now I’m wishing I had used the staking plan. It makes a profit to level stakes if that’s what you prefer and you can get the system for a one-off purchase price and use it every season going forward. I do recommend using the staking plan to maximise your profits though.

As part of the package you get a full profit strategy that shows you how to grow your bank with zero risk and how to protect your bank generally with minimized risk.

You also get a comprehensive training course that teaches you how the professionals bet and how you can join the elite 2% of successful bettors.

Highly recommended, you can get Sprint Lay Expert here:

Auto Bank Builder

Have a look at this latest offering from John Duncan.

I’ve been running Auto Bank Builder since last week and it seems to do exactly what it’s supposed to do, namely build your bank on auto pilot.

I started with a £300 bank, and set it to make me a nice, safe, 1% return a day. This may not sound like much but since it compounds the bank each day, it grows very rapidly indeed. I started on Tuesday 24th April and my £300 bank is now at £315.71 in just five days, up to Saturday.

It’s very clever how it works. Basically, all you do is upload a pbu file to the bot each morning (or the evening before) and leave it to run. It then bets on each race until it has made your daily profit target, and it does so by laying horses, sometimes several per race, using a very safe staking plan whereby the stakes are reduced as the prices increase on the selections.

What I like about this is that the selection criteria ensures that for the vast majority of the time, you’ll hit your profit target in the first few races of the day, so you’ll see a swift growth of the bank. When you do have a bad day, however, it won’t be a catastrophe as the low stakes mean relatively small draw-downs.

I’ll be running this bot on my VPS for the foreseeable future to see how it grows my £300 bank over the year. The only drawback with this offering is John is limiting the amount of places to 250 to protect the prices on Betfair. He’s already filled 150 of those with his own members so if this is something that interests you then have a look now and give it a go.

It looks very good to me.
