Bonus Bagging

UPDATE

I have been meaning to post an update to this service for several weeks, but real life kept getting in the way. However, as I have the opportunity at the moment I am going to grab it.

Bonus Bagging originally received a one off review, but in my opinion it is superb value for money and thoroughly deserves an update. I don’t know if there are any services that charge a one-off fee of £27 and make a profit, I’m pretty sure there aren’t any. As for systems that charge £27, they are as common as muck – and about as profitable!

Of all the £27 offerings (and £37, £47 and £97 come to that), this is the best value I have come across – a one-off fee and excellent support. I know that all the information is available for free, but for anyone who is unfamiliar with bonus bagging or finds it too much hassle, or (like me) simply had not got round to taking advantage of it, this represents an excellent investment. It won’t make anyone a millionaire, but the only way not to make money from it is to do nothing.

If Carlsberg did betting systems…

Well, the cat threw in the towel – it arrived about half a second after the litter tray… but I can now get back to the serious business of recording the results for this service.

There were three selections yesterday, all straightforward!

RESULTS Tuesday, 5th April

Limerick 19.15, Concrete and Clay £10 each way @ 5.50 (BFSP 3.82) = £1.25 PROFIT (placed 2nd)
Daily P/L £1.25
Current bank £1120.20

Laying
Pontefract 14.40, Halfsin £10 @ 2.72 (BFSP 3.25) = -£17.20 LOSS
Limerick 19.45, Captainofthefleet £10 @ 1.63 (BFSP 1.49) = -£6.30 LOSS

I have run into more difficulties with this trial than all the previous trials I’ve blogged put together. There is nothing wrong with the service and I’ve had no problem with placing the lays or the win bets. However, I am as familiar with each way bets and doubles/mutliples as I am with the currency of Patagonia. This has led to me making a number of errors, missing a bet and placing another incorrectly and in the process getting deeper in the mire. The lay figures are correct, but the profit for the backs is higher than I’d previously recorded.

I’ve checked each selection along with the profit per selection and that all appears to have been correctly recorded. It seems that the only error is with the current bank and my ability to consistently add two and two and get four. Using each way bets of £10, the bank at the end of the first day of the trial would have been £980 (I recorded £990, using £5 each way but Russell advises £10 each way). Day two the overall profit on the backs was £138.95, adding this to the £980 bank gives £1118.95 as the current bank.

I will post yesterday’s results when I have stopped kicking the cat.

Oops!

Observant readers may have deduced that each way betting and multiples are not my “thing”. All but one of the results recorded on Sunday were based on bets actually made. However, as previously mentioned, I placed one bet as a win double and it should have been an each way double. So, as the error was entirely mine I recorded the bet as if I had placed an each way double. Unfortunately, I was a wee bit over enthusiastic with the maths and no bookie would have paid out the amount I recorded.

I recorded the result as a win of £313, but it should be £54 and I have adjusted the results (below) to reflect this. I think also it is important to mention that it was Russell who pointed out the error. In my view that level of honesty amongst service providers is the exception rather than the norm and a measure of the provider’s integrity.

As for me, I am off to buy a new drawing board to go back to.

Amended RESULTS Sunday, 3rd April

Backing
Curragh 14.55, Notgonnagiveup £10 each way @ 11.00 (BFSP 7.00) = £15 (placed) PROFIT
Curragh 16.00, Unaccompanied £10 each way @ 5.00 (BFSP 5.40) = £50 (won) PROFIT
Notgonnagiveup and Unaccompanied £10 each way double = £54 (and not £313 as previously reported) PROFIT
Curragh 17.00, Samain £10 @ 3.10 (BFSP 2.97) = £19.95 PROFIT
Daily P/L £119
Current bank £1049

Reviewing my previous post, it appears that I overlooked something. This will make a small negative difference to the overall profit figures and I have adjusted the bank accordingly. As I am nursing the tail end of a stinking cold and my brain is not functioning at its best, rather than entering into an explanation now, I will go into details at the end of the trial.

Yesterday’s results were much better than Saturday’s. They would have been even better still if the bet I had placed was an each way double as it should have been, rather than a win double. As the fault was entirely mine, I will record the results as if I had placed the bet correctly.

There are no bets today and, hopefully, I am now on track and there will be no more errors.

RESULTS Sunday, 3rd April

INTRODUCTION

Over the next month or so I will be trialling Russell Gibbs’ Tipping Service. This subscription horse tipping service covers daily back, lay and each way tips, including each way doubles/mutliples.

The website is well layed out and easy to navigate and in my view well worth a visit. However, although subscriptions are paid online – via PayPal – the tips are accessed by dialling a standard (non-premium rate) landline and using a PIN. As the phone line is not premium rate, “waffle” (verbal padding) is not an issue. Even so, I have found the messages precise and to-the-point.

There is also an SMS alert service and a text is sent when the selections are available. This feature could prove very useful as it is claimed that the majority of (back) selections steam – if this is the case getting on early should have a significant effect on profits and makes trading a viable option.

Currently my mobile seems to operate as a remote device – it is invariable remote from wherever I happen to be. I will get in the habit of carrying it and accessing the selections as early as possible. I will record my results based on the price at which I managed to get on. Also, if I have time I will note BFSP for comparison. If the prices do steam, and I’ve no reason to doubt they will, then this information should help in assessing whether it is a service traders could benefit from.

No bank is suggested on the website, though subscribers can contact Russell Gibbs for advice on this. I shall use two separate banks, each of £1000. I will back to level stakes of £10 using one bank and this will cover the each way bets as well. For the lays I will again use level stakes of £10 but the liability will be higher.

I will attempt to post results daily but, for a variety of reasons, this will not always be possible. I will, however, give a breakdown of each day’s results.

Zero Risk Bets

ONE-OFF REVIEW

I had intended to trial this system/service over a few weeks. However, for reasons which should become obvious, I have decided to go for a one-off review. A lot of what I write in this review is opinion. I will leave it to you to decide whether my opinions are valid.

It was not until I had committed myself (or would have if I’d been a customer and not a reviewer) that it eventually transpired that what is on sale is an arbitrage alerts service. This was not immediately obvious – I’m sure the profits claimed do not come anywhere close to what an experienced arber would expect. This in turn had me wondering if what was on offer could be something other than arbitrage – it wasn’t. For anyone not familiar with what is involved, googling “sports arbitrage” should bring up some good explanations.

I thought the sales page was one of the most attrocious it has ever been my misfortune to experience – I cringed as I listened to what sounded like a failed B movie actor auditioning for a part as an East End (street) market trader! Putting that to one side I shall begin with some of the alarm bells that were set off.

The first thing that caught my eye is that there are only 36 copies left. Strange thing, I could have sworn that weeks ago, when I first visited the sales page as a result of a bombardment from the “usual suspects” (purveyors of usually dodgy systems) there were only 36 copies left. Six weeks, or more, and not a copy sold?

Second, the purveyors of this service claim profits in excess of £52,000 in 21 days. I suppose that this is theoretically possible – barely. Whether it is feasible is another matter entirely. They claim that bet #1 produced a profit of almost £5,000. If the arb produced 10% profit, a bank of £50,000 would be required – just for one bet. As arbs are frequently below 5% £100,000 or more would be needed. Just for one bet! This assumes of course that all bookies involved are going to accept, just like that, a bet running into tens of thousands and that all parts of the bet get matched. I think that is about as likely as the Pope converting to Islam! Oh, bet #2 produced a profit of over £14,000 – I won’t even begin to get into the maths!!

Second, while its possible that the “proof” (my term not theirs) in the form of screenshots of bank and bookie statements is genuine, none of my online bank statements look anything like theirs. I’m referring to what actually comes up on my screen when I am logged into my bank, not to the size of the credit balance! Somewhere, I have a Betfair statement showing that on the 31st February 2020 I won over £1 million from a single bet, genuine of course. In my experience, “proof” in the form of screenshots is not hard to manufacture.

Third, I had the strong impression reading the sales page that I would be parting with $37. In fact, anyone who did not run screaming from the sales page and ended up purchasing would be paying £37 per month. $37 one off, against £37 per month, surely this was not intentionally misleading?

Apparently, or so it is claimed on the sales page, 99.9999% (I think I have the right number of decimal places) of punters lose. That means only one in a million make a profit. I bet the bookies will be pleased to learn this!!

My pet hate also featured large on this page (which I’m sure the purveyors would claim I am maligning). Apparently what is on offer is the real deal and just about everything else is a scam. I hate that approach! However, I was reassured to find that I could get started with a bank of just £5. I’m not sure how long it would take to build that to a reasonable size – I should live so long!

Eventually, and after some hassle, I started receiving the email alerts. The arbs appear genuine enough. However, they use the arbitrage standard size bet of £1000, split over all outcomes of an event. Some arbs were over 5%, but the majority have been closer to 2% – £20 from tying up £1000, sometimes for a number of days before the bets are settled. This does not take into account that money also has to be moved around and this can take time. So, in order to make decent regular profits, considerably more than £1000 has to be readily available.

I have not been placing any bets, because arbitrage is not my thing and I’m not going to test this using £1000s. However, there have been at least five arbs that I have seen for F1 and these won’t be settled until the end of the season. Two or three of these are at odds where, quite literally, the money would earn around the same left on deposit with a high street bank.

My “purchase” also included two ebook downloads. Strangely, though what is offered for sale is zero risk betting the ebooks are about horse racing and there is not one mention that I can find of zero risk betting or arbitrage

If I had made a purchase I would probably have set a record for the speed with which I contacted Clickbank to ask for my money back.

I heartily recommend that this service is filed firmly under Failed. The recommendation is not made on the basis that the service doesn’t work, but on the basis that the potential profits, how much is needed to get started and what is being offered are (in my humble opinion, of course) grossly misleading. Words like, “plague”, “like the” and “avoid” spring readily to mind.

Bonus Bagging

ENDORSEMENT

Bonus Bagging does just what it says on the tin.

Having previously tried bagging bonuses I am well aware that this is something that works and is just about as risk free as it is possible to get and make a (good) profit. But, just as Arthur mentioned in his one off review, bagging bonuses can be a faff, especially for a beginner.

This service takes most of the hard work and messing around out of the process. Once subscribed, just send an email to Mike (proprietor), ask for a bet and he will reply with clear, straightforward instructions on what to do. Then just email each time you are ready to proceed. Unless you can get someone to place the bets for you, it couldn’t be any easier.

I joined the service around the time that Arthur posted his review and I have been actively using it for about ten or eleven days. I paid the one off subscription cost out of the first day’s profits. In total, I have made £200 profit, or around £20 per day – I could have made more if I pushed. So, £500 per month looks very realistic to me and £600, or more, looks readily achievable.

For anyone who wishes to build their betting bank, earn a small but worthwhile second income, boost their pension (older readers only), or just likes making a (no-risk) profit, Bonus Bagging is highly recommended.

Deja Vu Football

QUICK UPDATE

Since my final review I have had a very pleasant email from Dennis (proprietor) offering to extend my subscription until the end of the season – this suggests strongly that he has faith in his own service. I will then give a full update of how the service has performed between the end of the trial and the end of the season.
