Struck Gold

I’ve been using the Struck Gold Bot now with real money for one month, just with £10 stakes and a £500 betting bank.

The results are impressive.

As of yesterday the bank now stands at £837.17, which is a profit after Betfair commission of £337.17.

That’s 33 points profit and a 60% increase in the bank.

Just to remind you, this doesn’t get any easier. You download the bot, set your stake, and turn it on. You can leave it on 24/7 if you like, on a Virtual Server, or you can just turn the thing on each morning on your home computer and leave it to bet for you.

That’s all you have to do. Download, click on Start, withdraw your winnings.

I have an update on the Grey Horse Bot today.

As many of you will know I’m a big fan of this bot because it does pretty much everything you could want a bot to do, and as I test out a lot of systems many of them can be tested with the bot in paper trading mode simply by setting the criteria of the system into the bot. It then happily bets away in either real money or using a fictional bank and you can easily see how well a system performs.

As a bonus to GHB members, the members area contains lots of systems and tips to use with the bot.

One such system is called Supersonic Lays and the results of this has been, well, supersonic.

It’s been running since March 1st and amazingly it hasn’t has a single losing bet yet!

The best way to use the tips is by staking to a Liability, using a set percentage of bank as the liability per bet. Grey Horse Bot does this easily, so if you tell it to stake to 10% liability it will calculate how much to bet on the horse so that the liability is exactly 10% of your betting bank. Obviously the stake will depend on what the odds are on the horse, so if the odds are high, the stake will be very low and vice versa. The risk on each bet is always 10% of whatever your bank is.

You can set the liability to whatever you like but starting with a £500 betting bank, the profit using 10% liability is £37,311.63 after Betfair commission up to 5th October.

Supersonic!

Grey Horse Bot users get this for free, at least for now.

If you don’t have the Grey Horse Bot you can try it here:

They also have a ‘Lite’ version which is a one-off purchase with much less functionality but also comes with Supersonic Lays.

Magic Racing Bot

Another month on, now three months into this, more or less, and there’s not a great deal to report again. It is making a profit, slowly, but I suspect Betfair will make more out of this than I will.

They made a slight change earlier in the month and decided to exclude Saturdays, as it was showing big losses on these days, so I hope this exclusion will make a difference over time.

The bank did reach a new high of £648.26 and I’m now showing a total profit of £199.39, although for three months of betting every day this is hardly ground breaking.

Still, it requires no effort on my part, running quietly on  my VPS, and I guess if it only made £500 in a year it would be worth it.

Original Bank: £403.12
Bank High: £648.46
Current Bank: £602.51
Stake: £8.65

Profit: £199.39

Struck Gold

This is a one off review of the Struck Gold horse racing service.

I have been monitoring this service since it’s inception on 23rd May this year and I have to say I’m impressed.

It’s a straightforward backing service and you simply back the horse to level stakes.

You have to place your bet as close to the off as possible as long as the selection is the favourite in the Live Show. Don’t panic though, you don’t have to do this yourself as the service comes with a bot that places the bet for you.

It checks the Live Shows, it checks the odds, and if everything is fine it places the bet for you.

You don’t have to use the bot though. The selections are e-mailed to you every day and if you prefer you can bet on them manually. The bot doesn’t require any extra subscription though and it can be left on 24/7 on a virtual server if you like, so this really is a service that you can just turn on and leave it to make money for you.

From 23rd May to 5th September, it produced a profit of £448 with just £10 stakes which is very respectable in just over three months. That would be £1,120 with £25 stakes.

On 6th September I decided to bet with real money using the bot with £10 stakes using a £500 betting bank. They actually recommend a 100 point betting bank but having analysed the bets over the last four months I was happy with 50 points. In just sixteen days of live betting it’s made a net profit of £221.17 after Betfair commission.

So in four months it’s made a profit of £669 to £10 stakes, £1,672 to £25 stakes, or £3345 for those that bet £50 stakes.

There are never any liquidity problems on Betfair as these are favourites, and of course bets can be placed manually at bookies if you prefer, using Best Odds Guaranteed if you wish.

So with four months of data, plus a few weeks of live betting to test the bot, I am more than happy to give this an Approved rating. I will continue to use the bot myself on my virtual server and will do periodic updates to let you know how it’s getting on.

Oh yes and there’s one more thing that makes this a very attractive addition to your betting portfolio… the price.

Less than two hundred quid for the whole year, with the bot thrown in for free. I’ve made that back in two weeks with just £10 stakes!

Highly recommended.

Kip Betting Bot

Time for an update on my experience with the KIP betting bot.
I checked today and the profit is now at £745, since the beginning of July.
I’m running it at £20 level stakes with these settings:

Minimum Odds:    1.01
Maximum Odds:   10
Min Runners:          4
Max Runners:        30
Max Settle Time:  15
Time of Betting:    25
Initial Stake:          20
Recovery: (blank)

The bot is one of the best I’ve used. It requires no input from the user (although you have plenty of options to chose from) and you really can leave it running 24/7 to make money for you.

Here are some FAQ’s answered by the vendors:

The KIP Bot is a 100% automated betting tool that you leave running on your PC (or on a virtual server) and it assesses each race as it is due and where all factors align it will place a lay bet.

The bot can bet at level stakes but the creators recommend using the 2 step staking plan.
Basically this tries to recover any loss on the next race, but if that race loses also then the loss is accepted and the bot reverts to level stakes. This plan has proven to be much more profitable than level stakes over the years of testing.

(I personally prefer level staking though and betting a higher amount… no big surprises!)

Q1. How much does the bot make?
Always the big question, we have been testing live since December 2010 and we started using staking plan 3 and then changed to plan 2 when the team agreed to change the advice to new users (to plan 2).

Over that time the profit has averaged 45 points per month.

Q2. Does it win every month?
So far during live testing it has, but statistically based on past data from the systems we believe that there will be occasional losing months.

Q3. What systems does the bot operate?
There are 34 micro systems that have never been released to the public that the bot operates. They all target weak market leaders in better class races.

Q4. What equipment do I need to run the bot?
A Windows PC running XP or newer, connected to the internet or a Windows virtual server running Windows 2003.

Q5. How much does it cost?
Currently the bot can be tried for 7 days for £7

Q6. Is there a money back guarantee?
In the first 30 days of use you can get a pro rata refund of any unused days.

Magic Racing Bot

Nothing much to report on this bot unfortunately. It took my £400 bank up to £580 at one point but has given that back again and my bank is currently showing a £7 loss. It runs well enough but just isn’t making a profit at the moment.

I’ll do another update at the end of September.

KIP Betting Bot

Time for an update on my experience with the KIP betting bot.

Just to remind you what this bot does:

- It runs 34 individual micro systems, each finding a few, targeted qualifiers.

- it is 100% auto

- It makes the selections and places the bets (selections are not loaded from some tipster on a server, the systems are within the software and it works them out each day)

- It can be left running for days and weeks

- New Release – the option for level stakes as well as the staking plans

- The systems were all created 3 years ago and were forward tested live for 18 months before the bot development was started

- The bot has been running live since November and has averaged over 40 points per month and has been consistently (Currently averaging 44)

So how have I got on with it?

I started at the beginning of June, on the recommended staking plan, betting at £1 a bet. This is Lay betting so I won 95p on a winning bet, after commission.

There is an optional progressive staking plan included whereby stakes are increased to recover losses but rather than straight on the next bet, the bets are automatically spread over 8 cycles, the idea I’m guessing is that a run of losses is split up rather than mounting up. Of course this doesn’t guarantee stakes don’t increase as you might get unlucky with the losing bets hitting the same cycle.

Personally I hate progressive staking with Lay betting as it only takes two or three losing bets to set you back weeks, if not months, of profit.

So I ran with only £1 stakes on a progression of two bets but had losing bets of £16 and even £49 on one day, which obviously means over 50 bets to win that back.

Fortunately most of the time I had winners and long lists of £1 wins and by 7th July had won £23.93

On the 8th July I decided to knock the progressive staking on the head and try out just level staking. The bot seems to have a really high strike rate so I don’t see the need to go for recovery betting anyway.

Between 8th July and 26th July I bet at £5 level stakes (lay stakes) and made £95.52 profit. The losing bets were generally around £10 and £20, a couple at £30-£40 which is to be expected. Mostly I won.

So with increased confidence I increased my stake to £10 level stakes and between 26th July and 24th August, the bot made me a profit of £386.50.

And I was away on holiday for nearly three weeks with very limited internet access so I couldn’t even check the bot which I had running on my virtual server. So that was nice to come home to.

A couple of days ago I upped my stake to £20 level stakes. I checked today and saw it had placed no bets and was just showing the ‘keep alive’ message. Clearly a bug when I changed the stake so I restarted it today and it’s placed another couple of bets making me another £38 so far.

So all in all, in two months, the KIP bot has made me a net profit of £540.92.

I’m going to continue to run it at £20 level stakes for now until the next update.

The bot is one of the best I’ve used. It requires no input from the user (although you have plenty of options to chose from) and you really can leave it running 24/7 to make money for you.

I have no hesitation in giving this bot an Approved rating and will continue to update on my progress with it over the next few months.

Update 25th November 2011

It’s been a bad month for the KIP bot, on my settings anyway.

I started with a betting bank of £1200 in July playing with £1 stakes but quickly moved to £5 stakes (level staking). I increased this to £10 stakes in August, and then £20 stakes in September, making steady profits all the time. By October my £1200 bank had increased to £2400, which is exactly £1200 profit on a bot that did everything automatically.

I increased my stakes again to £25 and then it went downhill. The last few weeks the bot has given back all my winnings, plus £500 of my original bank, which now stands at £715.

This is quite a shocking down turn. On a personal level, I’m only really £500 out of pocket because my starting bank was £1200. But had I started using the bot a month ago, the actual loss is £1685 with £25 level stakes, or 67 points.

I’m not sure what size bank is recommended for this but even using a 100 point bank, that’s a big hit to take in a month.

Let’s see how it pans out for the rest of the year.

I’m going to move this bot to the Neutral section for now and do another update next month.

Magic Racing Bot

A poor start to this service with three winning days but five losing days taking my £400 bank down to £268.77.

We are assured by the team that this is normal and it’s just been a bad week. We shall see…

Magic Racing Bot

Certainly an encouraging start for the Magic Racing Bot. Three winning bets yesterday and the others were outside the odds range (we only bet if less than 5.0). The staking plan increased the stakes as expected after each winner and so I made a profit of £31.35 and have increased my initial bank by 10% in just two days.

Original Bank: £403.12
New Bank: £443.47
Stake: £5.91

Profit: £40.36

This is only on sale until tomorrow and comes with a 30 day money back guarantee so I’m of the opinion that if this interests you, you should try it out under their guarantee and see if it’s for you.

Watch the video on the site too as it explains a lot.

UPDATE: I just noticed a mistake I made yesterday too. I upgraded my bot and when you do an upgrade the stakes are reset to default values. I remembered to change my stake to the correct value but I forgot I was on 3 points by then after the previous days winnings, so yesterday, had I remembered to set it to 3 points, I would have made £47 profit instead of  £31!

Lesson learned.

Magic Racing Bot

I got the new, fully working, Magic Racing Bot yesterday and I’m running it live one of my Betfair accounts with just over £400 in it (£403.12 to be precise).

The recommended betting bank in the new manual is 75 points so I set the bot to stake £5.37.

It doesn’t say whether you are supposed to re-calculate the stake at the start of each day, thus compounding your winnings, or whether to just leave it at this stake all along. I assume since they publish the results as a ‘points profit’ they leave it the same. This is certainly the easiest option as once it’s turned on, it requires no further input from the user, especially if you are running it 24/7 on a VPS as I am.

However, if a 75 point bank is sufficient I see no reason not to re-calculate the base stake each day based on the current bank level, on a ratchet plan whereby it only ever increases based on a bank high, and stays the same if the bank is reduced on any given day. The same as I’m doing with the Full Time Betting Income. Over time, given that the system is profitable, this would dramatically increase the earnings from this bot.

So I’ll be doing that for this test, at least when I’m available to increase it. Of course, if I’m away on holidays etc, the bot can just be left to run on it’s own without increasing the base stake and hopefully this should still make a nice amount of profit anyway.

The first day went well with a couple of losing bets initially then three winners making a net profit of £9.01.

Original Bank: £403.12
New Bank: £412.13
Stake: £5.50

Profit: £9.01
