KIP Betting Bot

The KIP Betting Bot has been made available for sale for a limited time today and so I thought I’d give a bit of an update of what it’s all about.

- It runs 34 individual micro systems, each finding a few, targeted qualifiers.

- it is 100% auto

- It makes the selections and places the bets (selections are not loaded from some tipster on a server, the systems are within the software and it works them out each day)

- It can be left running for days and weeks

- New Release – the option for level stakes as well as the staking plans (Will be released in next few days)

- The systems were all created 3 years ago and were forward tested live for 18 months before the bot development was started

- The bot has been running live since November and has averaged over 40 points per month and has been consitently (Currently averaging 44)

Profit from Nov 29th to July 4th is 322 points.

Dec 10 = +21
Jan 11 = +36.8
Feb = +31
March = +58.1
April = +76.5
May = +68.77
June = +55.6

The offer is £7 for the first 7 days then £30 for next 30 then £67 per month. If you cancel in the first 30 days they will pro rata a refund for unused days.

I’ve been running my bot on my VPS and it’s worked perfectly smoothly, without any input required from me from the day I turned it on. It’s basically a fully automated income.

I’ve had mine set at £1 stakes and it’s made £18.54 net profit after Betfair commission so thats 18 points profit already and I’ve only been running it about three weeks.

Tomorrow I’m going to download the latest version and run it at £5 stakes. The recommended betting bank for my settings is 150 points which is £750. I’ll let you know how I get on next month.

You can try the KIP Betting Bot for £1 a day here:

Magic Racing Bot

This is yet another betting bot brought to us from the same people that gave us Perpetual-I (failed), Secret System Lays (failed), Physic Soccer (disappeared), Psychic Racing (disappeared) to name a few.

The format is always the same. A big launch sequence with loads of give aways, then they open the doors for a few days then close it off and move onto something else.

This means that for review sites like mine it’s difficult, or rather impossible, to give a solid review because we haven’t had time to test the products out.

I’ve tested them all but it’s always been in retrospect as they are never on sale anymore by the time I’ve reviewed them.

Now I do understand that some systems need to be limited in the number of users due to the liquidity issues, but this means everyone has to take a punt on the method working and as we’ve previously seen that’s not always the case. Besides, this system only lays at low odds and therefore there shouldn’t really be liquidity issues.

So what do we have with the Magic Racing Bot?

Well, all the affiliates, myself included, have been given a review copy a few weeks ago. It’s exactly the same as all the other bots whereby you turn it on and leave it and the selections get uploaded and bet on automatically. So you just have to turn it on and set how much you want to bet.

This time, however, we’ve only been able to use the Paper trade function. I’ve always bet with real money before because that’s the way to see if it really integrates with Betfair properly and really gets the bets placed. I’ve also bet with sensible money rather than the thousands that get wagered on paper trading.

This leaves me to wonder whether they have only allowed the paper trading facility for affiliates so that we report on the profits produced using large stakes (the default is £50).

The recommended betting bank is 60 points so for a stake of £50 you need £3000.  But it’s risking up to £600 on each bet when it reaches it’s maximum staking level which seems very aggressive. The staking system works by laying one point and if the race is a winner it lays 2 points on the next race, if that wins it lays 3 points (£150 for £50 stakes) on each bet until it gets a loser, when it goes back down to 2, then 1 etc.

So how has my trial gone so far?

Well, of course it looks impressive on first glance. I had it running on my VPS and when I checked it had turned my £3000 into about £3300 on the first day. The next day, more big profits.

Then we had some losing days, we lost hundreds knocking the bank down considerably. Then it went up a bit. Then it stopped completely at the end of June and we were sent an e-mail five days later telling us to download the ‘upgrade’.

Well, all previous results had been wiped off and we were starting again with a £3000 paper bank. Two days later and it’s turned that into £3,475.

It’s still very early days and therefore impossible to know if this is a long term winner.

I would have prefered to have a fully working version so that I could bet with real money and see how it does. I’ve asked them for this and they are setting me up with one tomorrow (Saturday).

Still, I’ll keep running it and I’ll certainly report on the results. No doubt when this goes on sale on Monday you’ll only have a few days to buy etc and you’ll be tempted by the promising looking results. But if you do decide to try it, be very aware that you’re taking a big punt on this one… and for heaven’s sake use a very disposable betting bank.

Oh, and there’s some more freebies available on the site today to entice you in:

High Class Hype Horses

We’ve had a good run on this bot. The balance now stands at £904.22 starting with a £500 bank at the end of February, so in just over four months it’s made an 80% return which is pretty incredible actually.

I had my reservations about this in the beginning because it didn’t seem to be getting anywhere but this is a long term system and it certainly seems to be doing the business.

So for now I’m going to give this bot an Approved rating and will of course keep you updated as the year goes on.

Just to recap, this is a horse racing laying system by Richard Ashdown and comes in the form of a downloadable PDF with, impressively, a betting bot to do everything for you.

The manual is 36 pages long, well written and comprehensive, explaining how it works and why it works. Essentially there are only 5 rules, but the manual goes through each step in detail with diagrams to show you where to look and what to look for, so you will never be in any doubt as to whether you have the correct selection.

However, all of the above becomes unnecessary if you decide to use the bot that comes with it. This is the clever bit. There is nothing extra to pay for the bot, no ongoing subscriptions, no upgrade fee’s etc. All you do is load it up, input your Betfair username and password, input what you want to stake, and click Start. The thing then runs 24/7 without any further input required.

Some of the Key points advertised about this product are:

High Class Hype Horses (HCHH) is a fully automated, proven laying system with a 75.3% success rate

HCHH’s sensible staking plan would have turned a £1,000 bank into over £55,000 in four years

It operates in an area of the market where liquidity is never a problem, so prices won’t be affected

Included is software that automates the whole process, and this really is completely automated if you run it on a virtual server as you just leave it on 24/7 and let it do all the work.

Unfortunately it’s currently not for sale but if they decide to make it available again you will be able to get High Class Hype Horses here:

Update September 2011

Time for an update on this system.

The bot has worked flawlessly since I began running it in February 2011.

It took my £500 bank up to £970 at one point in July and if this had continued I would have been very impressed indeed.

However, it’s not all good news.

Since July the bank has slowly dwindled and has now gone back to £510, only £10 up on my original bank.

I think for any system or service, fully automated or not, to only make £10 profit in seven months, is not good.

If I left it running for another six months it may well double the bank again, but then it may well lose it all again as we’ve just seen.

So the system/bot hasn’t lost any money, but it’s not made any either and I have no intention of carrying on using it.

I’ve recategorized this system as Neutral.

It’s currently not for sale but if they decide to make it available again you will be able to get High Class Hype Horses here:

Betfair Bots – UKIRE Bot 1P Final Review

I have been testing a Betfair Bot called UKIRE Bot 1P which costs € 120 (approx. £100 depending on exchange rate). To run this bot you will need:

  • Betting Assistant (www.gruss-software.co.uk) free first month then € 6 per month.
  • A Betfair account registered to Betting Assistant
  • Microsoft excel (to read our bot)

You launch Betting Assistant and the Excel spread sheet any time before the first race of the day. A minute or so to setup and leave well alone.

Apparently this bot works only in the UK/IRE horse racing market, and I only followed UK races.

Because there is potential for a bot to empty an account I used a betting bank of £100. This level of staking was never going to make me a fortune! The estimated monthly returns are 1 to 1.5%, so I hoped to make a tenner. What I needed to do was gain confidence that the bot does “what it says on the tin”.

Because I used my own real money to test this bot, paper trading was not a viable option, so I stopped the trial before I lost any more money. Testers at cash-masters are unpaid, and this was my own hard earned income I was risking here. I also had to pay the £6 per month Gruss subscription.

After 7 weeks, with a few days missed for one reason or another, and some 1185 bets the bank is £6.13 down. Most weeks the bank does show steady growth but there have been 2 weeks of really bad performance (-£11.16, and -£16.19) which wipes out these gains. It is possible that this bot may perform better during the winter months.

So, with Gruss subscription added, I am some £12 down from a £100 bank. A more realistic bank of £1000, would have been about £70 down, and the cost of the bot has not been recovered either. On the upside, the bot works well and I had no trouble in using it.

Due to the two large drawdowns in a seven week trial I am going to have to categorise this as FAILED. You might fare better.

You can get UKIRE Bot 1p here:

KIP Betting Bot

I have been lucky enough to get a copy of the KIP Betting bot that runs 34 individual micro systems, each finding a few, targeted qualifiers. The reported results of this bot are very encouraging and I shall be running this on my VPS and leaving it on 24/7.

There is currently a waiting list for the bot as they want to make sure the market isn’t impacted by the number of users, so I’d recommend joining the waiting list anyway, just in case:

High Class Hype Horses

It’s time for another update on this bot.

Again, it’s been chugging away quite nicely on it’s own requiring no input from me whatsoever.

The bank is currently sitting at £761.36 from an initial starting bank of £500 started on 23rd February. Whilst this sounds promising we have to remember that it reached £756.69 on 21st May and then went down to £545.89 by 28th May, one week later, so one bad week can knock this back by months.

Still, as it requires no effort on my part, I’m happy to run it until either my bank gets wiped or the one year anniversary, whichever comes first and then we’ll know for sure whether its a winner or not.

Full Time Betting Income

Just to explain, I’m doing my staking slightly differently to how Chris recommends. Although he personally uses the bot to place the same stake on each race throughout the day, he calculates the stake based on the overall bank high that will have been achieved if it went over a previous high at any point during the day. To do this he has to make a note of the result of each race and check to see the level of the bank at every point.

I’m too lazy for that. All I am doing is using The Grey Horse Bot to place the same stake on each selection throughout the day. The next morning, I’m looking at the profit (or loss) figure for the previous day and adding/subtracting that from my previous days bank figure. So if it shows a profit of £6 for the day, I just add £6 to yesterdays bank figure and if the new bank figure is a new high I’ll recalculate the stake. If it’s not then I don’t. This way all I have to do is keep a note of the overall bank high figure, the current bank, and the stake. I don’t have to fill in spreadsheets with each days data.

Now of course over time this is going to end up with me getting a different profit total to Chris but in a way this is good because we will be able to see which works better. So we have results for staking worked out race by race, results for staking worked out daily with the true bank high used each day (Chris’s method) and results for staking based on end of day results only.

This week we are pretty much at breakeven.

Bank High:£219.42

Current Bank: £202.40

Stake: £7.68
