Update

Football Value Selections has just had a sixth consecutive profitable month. June returned a profit of 22.88 points to level stakes. It wasn’t all plain sailing; the majority of the profit was made in the final week after a difficult start to the month. However, having confidence in the selections paid off as the return for June brought the total for this year to 140.69 points. The Euro 2012 selections that were run alongside the main selections for people wanting an interest in the tournament were rewarded with a profit of 4.74 points.

The Euro 2012 selections were popular and the lower number of selections has given me the idea of setting up two additional options for Football Value Selections. You can still subscribe each month for the price of £45 for the first three months then £45 every month after that or £275 for the first fifteen months then £275 for every year after that. However, you can now subscribe for Barclay’s Premier League games only, for a cost of £99 for the full season or for the UEFA Champions League games for £99 for the 2012 – 2013 season. There is a special offer of a subscription to both services for £149. The main advantage of these services is the large liquidity there is in the betting markets for these leagues and the lower number of selections sent out each week allowing bets to be placed in under fifteen minutes each week. For more information on the new and existing services follow the link below.

Soccer Bet Oracle

We’ve now been following this service for 2 months and it’s time to call a halt. As I said last week, I do think that this might well be worth a re-visit in the new season.

The selections arrive via an email which can be received pretty much anytime between midnight and lunchtime. I did have cause to contact support a few times with queries and am pleased to say I always received a reply. It’s not a normal email set up for support, you have to go to a website and raise a new ticket. You are then emailed when support have provided an answer.

Admin wise, this service is pretty good but not perfect. I’ve had several occasions where a bet is given out on the wrong day. One wasn’t their fault really as some bookmakers did have it listed for the day but it was in reality a week later, other examples were just given out incorrectly by the service and you needed to search around oddschecker to find out exactly when the game was being played. It’s a bit annoying but hardly a hanging offence. The odds they advise their bets at are usually getable and very often you can find better so they are certainly not cheating with those.

Performance wise, we started like a train (a Japanese bullet one at that) and quickly shot 160 points into profit within two weeks of the start. Sadly that was the high point and it all came off the rails.

By the end of the trial we were still 36.15 points in profit but the nose dive is very worrying and the strike rate has dropped to 48.48% the average odds are 2.26 but that has been slightly inflated by a few recent bets being Goalscorer and Result doubles, the R.O.I. is a rather anaemic 1.94%.

Although this trial has finished in profit, I really do not feel comfortable with Approving it due to the fact that if you’d joined anytime after the first two weeks you would be looking at a large loss.

I’m going to file this one under NEUTRAL for now and will plan to have another look around September time once all the big leagues are back in the swing of it.

UPDATE  July 2012

I have been keeping track of this for the last few weeks and unfortunately the massive slump we saw towards the end of the trial has continued.

After yesterday’s bets, the bank has now lost around 20 points before membership subs are factored in.

I still plan to revist this once the new season is underway but I do feel that given the way the figures have plunged we should now file this under FAILED.

Pity, as the first 2 weeks of the trial were so spectacular but there may just be a chance that they can recapture that performance once the European big leagues return.

Soccer Betting Oracle

After a slow start to the week we had quite a busy weekend.

Sadly, there’s been no end to the downward slide.

Now showing +43.11 since the start of the trial but the strike rate has dropped to 48.84% with average odds of 2.2.

A piece of bad luck didn’t help. Yesterday’s highest priced bet (Banfield v Colon, 3 points @ 3.30) was on course to win with our selection 3-0 up with less than 10 minutes left but the bet will be void as the game was abandoned due to crowd trouble.

My plan is to continue recording these until the end of the month, then give my verdict. It may very well be wise to give this service another trial in August/September once the big leagues start up again.

Soccer Bet Oracle

No football bets have been advised since the weekend update. Lots of tennis but nothing on the football front.

Soccer Bet Oracle

The worrying slide continues.

The bet that was put back a week in Urugauy has now been settled (won) but the figures are dipping to a dangerous level.

The strike rate has now gone below 50% for the first time since the trial started and when you’re dealing with average odds of around 2.20 things are going to be tight.

Running Profit is now at +61.62 which when taken on it’s own looks good but if you were betting at £1 a point then you would now be in a loss situation after monthly subs are factored in. If you had joined in mid May you would now be close on 100 points down. The recommended bank is 200 points so it’s not a terminal situation but it could do with picking up sharpish. We did have one very good day during last week when all three bets won but that was the only day when all stakes got cut back to 2 point bets at really quite short odds.

There are no football bets today, all advised bets are tennis.

The rather alarming slide continues.

The pending tennis bet from last month was settled on Monday and the final figure for the bonus tennis selections for May was -60.09. So certainly taken the right action in stopping recording those for this month.

In some sort of weird symmetry we lost exactly what we won the previous day. Still have the 5 point Uruguayan bet pending for next weekend.

Great day yesterday but we have a bet pending for a week. A game in Uruguay was advised, and was listed by some bookies and odds comparison sites but not all,  so I have put it in the spreadsheet but it must have been moved from it scheduled date as it now appears listed for next Saturday by most firms. What I have done is to mark it as a PUSH (no win,no loss) and marked it with an asterisk as a reminder.

I will upload the spreadsheet results tomorrow as we have some overnight games in South America again today.

Assured Soccer Profits

One of the most successful football systems to be launched last year was the Assured Soccer Profits system. This is a Betfair betting exchange based system that anyone who has a Betfair account, a PC with an Internet connection and the willingness to learn a few basic techniques from Masters of football trading can use.

You can check out our review here.

Assured Soccer Profits closed to new members back in February 2012 disappointing a lot of people that still wanted to get hold of this breakthrough system and, of course, disappointing many who thought that when they said they were closing the doors, this was just some marketing talk. But it wasn’t, they really did shut the doors. But it isn’t bad news I bring you today. Here is some really good news.

The Assured Soccer Profits guys, bowing to pressure from many that wanted in and couldn’t get in back at the beginning of the year, have decided to re-open the site just for Euro 2012. So now you can enjoy watching the European International Championships whilst having a little financial flutter on the games. The site will open today and stay open for the tournament.

But ASP, as we now call it, isn’t just a football system, it is the football system and what you get for your one off payment is huge. The system itself allows you, in 90% plus of all games you use it on, to make a small profit regardless of the result of the game and also shows you how to minimise or kill off completely any chances of losses and, with most games your input is limited to a few minutes prior to kick off, a few minutes during the game and often it’s all done and dusted by half time. Now there are always going to be losses, but, used properly you can turn most games into no lose situations.

And you don’t have to sit glued to your PC, they’ll show you how to use a live score site that alerts you to action when needed and tell you exactly when you need to go back to the game to wrap up your profits or come out without loss.

You will see from the spreadsheet of results on site going all the way back to February 2010 just how many games the creators of the system have profited on and how many were losers on stakes that are small enough for most people to manage providing they have a few hundred pounds of betting bank.

The one off payment gets you membership to the site and over 20 tutorial videos, including 5 getting started videos, that you can view at your leisure. Manuals to back up the videos, tools to help you decide what and how to bet and even a spreadsheet pre-designed to allow you to keep the same records that the ASP creators keep. In addition there is an historic archive of blogs/articles covering various trading situations and, I understand, new ones will be added over the next few months.

So there you have it, the most comprehensive football trading system ever to be produced, has opened up again for a short time.

Grab a spot while you can before the doors close again… and they absolutely will:
