Football Loophole

Next up is a pdf called “The Football Loophole”. Whilst this is a 56 page document, it isnt full of the usual padding. There are some pages dedicated to finding and placing a bet, but this is fair enough.

A personal  , as the book contains 7 different markets to bet on! The first four are set and forget for: Home Wins, Asian Handicaps, Under/Over 2.5 and Laying Away. Each variant has their own sets of rules. The Lay Away obviously needs a Betting Exchange. However these bets can be assessed and place the evening before the event.

Method 5 relies on in-play betting as you are looking for a set up some minutes after kick off. May be botable with GreyHorseBot or an excel wizard and BetAngel/betting Assistant.

Methods 6 and 7 are in-play trading, and therefore require you to sit and watch the live scores and react accordingly.

I cant be at my computer every day to catch the in-play, so I will endeavour to code a bot up to catch the Betfair prices throughout the match. Hopefully I can then match the set ups to the Betfair prices and record the data accordingly.

So, I will record what data I can. Hopefully this will cover all 7 methods.

I will follow the advised stake plan: 3% on back bets, 5% liability on Lays, 15% on trades. I will operate each method with an individual bank so, should one method fail this does not adversely affect the amount of money available to the other methods. To keep this sensible, each bank will start with £100 for £700 investment total.

Drawing Profits

Last up is Drawing Profits.

A simple 7-page pdf. A very simple system backing a specific score with specific teams. The teams may change during the season, but you will be notified of any changes.

A loss recovery system is employed and a bespoke calculator is included so you can keep track of your stakes.

The stake plan is a target per match of 0.25% of your bank. Again this is handled by the bespoke calculator supplied with the system.

Not much more to say really as the system is very simple.

I will operate from a bank of £1000.

I aim to record results after each match.

I will take prices from Betfair at the start of each match, acknowleding that prices at the Bookies may well be different.

Footballbettingchamp

Well Grahams back and I have well and truly been put to work with three different system/services to check. These are all football (soccer) based. With Internationals this weekend and mid-week, I wont start blogging results until next weekend.

First up is Footballbettingchamp, which is a football signal service. It’s progressive betting but with built in stop losses and weekly videos of the vendors actually placing the bets themselves.

I have had a look around the website and it appears nicely laid out with some useful links to footy stats services to aid your own research.

I will hope to report on each and all signals generated by the service, probably the day after the match.

As I will be developing yet another betfair bot (see footballloophole blog), I will take prices from betfair at the start of each event. This allows for consistent reporting of odds.

I will start with a £1000 bank, and use their recommended stake plan.

Final Review

Well I started this test five weeks ago with a betting bank of £500 and I’ve now doubled it with next to no effort, a few bets a week, and with no idea or interest in football in the slightest. I must admit I wasn’t looking forward to testing this service but I’m glad I did.

To sum up, this is a very mellow and easy to follow service. All you do is go to the website each evening and login to see if there are any bets. If there are, you bet 75 points on each selection. If it’s a back bet, you bet 75 points to win. If it’s a lay bet, you lay to 75 points liability. Job done in a few minutes. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never heard of these teams… we bet on football all around the world. Just input the name into the Betfair search box and it’ll find the market for you. Click on Match Odds and there it is.

The bets identified are good odds for straight win bets and the advised staking plan… 75 points level stakes on a 500 point bank, seems to work well. Getting two or three losing bets in a row is no problem and the strike rate is high enough that you don’t seem to have any long losing periods so it’s good psychologically to see your account balance rise fairly rapidly.

100% return in 5 weeks is pretty impressive by any standards, but remember this isn’t even betting every day, it’s about ten bets a week if that! I also found that Stuart, the brains behind this service, is very polite and quick to answer e-mails.

There’s not much else to say except that I have no other choice but to give this service a qualified thumbs up and I highly recommend that you take advantage of Stuarts know how, whether you have any interest in football or not. It’s a nice little earner and takes no time at all. I’deal for anyone that has a day job too… just check the site in the evening, place your bets and walk away.

Oh, and it’s very good value too! Twenty quid a month and it’s made me five hundred in my first five weeks!

This is one service that I shall certainly continue to use.

UPDATE October 2010

The Smarter Gambler service has now closed.
