Goal Market Profits

We are going back to the French Ligue 2 on Tuesday and our NAP comes from the match between Le Havre and Istres.  Both have an identical league records of P7 W1 D4 L2.  Istres have scored in all eight of their competitive matches this season and conceded in seven of them.  Those matches have totalled 29 goals at an average of 3.6 goals per game.  Hosts Le Havre have a similar profile, scoring in six of their nine competitive games and conceding in eight of them.  All four of Istres’ away games have seen both sides scoring and interestingly all have gone over 3.5 goals.  Le Havre have scored 8 at home in their last two and everything points towards both sides having enough firepower to find the net.  Both teams to score @5/4 is too big in my opinion.

10pt win with Ladbrokes

Le Havre v Istres (France Ligue 2) both teams to score @5/4 LOST (1-0) -10pts

Staying in France’s Ligue 2 we have another match that looks over priced for both teams to score.  League leaders Angers travel to Troyes having scored in all 8 of their competitive matches this season, keeping just one clean sheet in the process.  Their away form reads P4 W2 D1 L1 but of interest to us is that all of those games paid out for both teams to score.  Troyes are strong at home winning all three and conceding just once.  However they have yet to entertain a side as attacking as Angers and I fancy both sides to score here.  Finally, Burnley and Nottingham Forest meet in what should be a highly entertaining match if both sides bring their A game.  Forest’s latest match scores read 2-2, 2-2, 3-2, 2-1 and they have scored in all of their 10 games this season.  Burnley are in terrific form and are unbeaten at home in 10 games, scoring in all of them.  Again this looks set up for both teams to score.

5pt double with Ladbrokes

Troyes v Angers (France Ligue 2) both teams to score @21/20 WON (3-3)

Burnley v Notts Forest (Capital One Cup) both teams to score @8/13 WON (2-1) +11.56pts

Daily P/L (Day 5) +1.56pts

Running P/L +20.87pts

Goal Market Profits

I am sending this sooner than usual as we have an early kick-off tomorrow over in Japan for one leg of our double (6.30am kick-off).  For our NAP we head to France’s Ligue 2 where both Tours and Lens have been scoring and conceding more than expected for a traditionally tight league.  Tours’ 4 home games this season have all seen both sides scoring and Lens have scored 6 and conceded 8 in their 4 away games so far.  Both to score looks on the cards and 10/11 looks a touch of value.

10pt win with Ladbrokes

Tours v Lens (France Ligue 2) both teams to score @10/11 WON (3-1) +9.09pts

In the Japanese J League 2, Tokyo Verdy take on JEF United Chiba in a game that looks wide open.  11 of Verdy’s last 12 games have seen both sides scoring and that includes the last 5 in a row.  At home they have been shut out just 3 times in 17 home games played in 2013.  Visitors Chiba arrive having scored at least one goal in 24 of their last 25 matches.  Both teams to score has paid out in the last 3 meetings between these sides and the 7/10 looks value to me.  Finally, in Denmark’s Superliga, home side Vestsjaelland will do well to keep out an Esbjerg side who have scored in all 11 of their competitive games this year.  The home side have made a decent start and have scored 5 goals in their last 3 home matches, winning two and drawing one.  Again both teams to score is a decent price @17/20.

5pt double with BetVictor

Tokyo Verdy v JEF United Chiba (Japan J League 2) both teams to score @7/10 Kick-off 6.30am LOST (1-0)

Vestsjaelland v Esbjerg (Denmark Superliga) both teams to score @17/20 WON (1-3) -5pts

Daily P/L (Day 4) +4.09pts

Running total +19.31pts

My Findings:

A little bit of a strange situation with the Nap bet. When the email arrived last night, I made my usual checks on the prices available and found all was ok.

This morning I went through the coupons and made my own picks for today’s bets and, without any thought to this service’s advice, included a BTTS bet on Tours in a treble with St Pauli & Espanyol. I looked on oddschecker for the best price and found Ladbrokes was the highest for the treble. When I went to their website I found they were not offering a market for that bet on the Tours game. However, if I clicked tshe price on the oddschecker Bet Basket and then returned to Ladbrokes own site, the bet was included. Very strange indeed but the bet was accepted by Ladbrokes and has now been settled as a winning bet.

None of this has any bearing on the service as the bet was available last night and I only relay it as an odd situation as anyone following the trial would have met the same confusion.

Gaffa Tips

There seems to be something of a pattern emerging with this service. As the football season gets underway the predictions are turning into winners (although not exclusively). On the other hand the golf selections are still struggling, especially where it comes to predicting those players that will end up in the top ten for a particular tournament. That all said we see a reversal in fortunes this week with a further loss to the bank.

Goal Market Profits

On to Sunday and our NAP is the match between Valencia and Seville, two of Spain’s premier sides.  Both of these sides have made a relatively poor start to the season, scoring and conceding plenty of goals.  After starting with a 1-0 home win over Malaga, Valencia have gone on to concede 14 goals in their next 5 games.  Seville have been scoring quite freely with 16 goals in all competitions this year and they have conceded 10 in the process.  Over 2.5 goals looks a good bet and Ladbrokes are a standout 17/20.

10pt win with Ladbrokes

Valencia v Seville over 2.5 goals @17/20 WON (3-1) +8.5pts

In Serie A, newly promoted Sassuolo look set for a long season having lost their opening games 2-0, 2-0 and 4-1.  Inter can go top if they win this and they look worth backing to score two or more having started the season with 4-0, 2-0 and 3-0 wins and a decent 1-1 draw with Juventus. Note this is an 11.30 kick-off.

Napoli look strong this year and sit top of the table with 3 wins out of 3 and 9 goals scored.  AC Milan are a bit of an enigma but are fairly decent at home.  They have only been shut out once at home in the league since December 2012 and that points to at least one home goal.  With Napoli such a potent attacking force this is set up for both teams to score.

5pt double with Ladbrokes

Sassuolo v Inter Milan total away goals over 1.5 @17/20 WON (0-7)

AC Milan v Napoli both teams to score @7/10 WON (1-2) +10.72pts

Daily P/L (Day 3) +19.22pts

Goal Market Profits

I’m going to be recording the results from the service Graham introduced us to on Friday.

They are currently offering a Free 1 Month Trail of their tips so you can try before you buy by simply paper trading and seeing how we end up.

There is a members area you can log into to get the tips and read any comments from customers and the responses given by the owners and the tips also arrive by email. So far the email has arrived on the stroke of midnight the night before the games are played.

I must say that the Members Area is an interesting read and comments are answered thoroughly and sensibly in my opinion. There are a couple of articles to read about the methodology behind the selections too.

The advise on a starting bank size states that you should be ok with a 200 point bank but the more cautious should use a 300 point start. So I think I’ll be recording events on a spreadsheet using the midpoint of 250 points. Nick also advises that he does not think progressive staking is a good idea and that we should stick to the staking point he recommends.

Rather than me waffle on and just give the profit/loss figures, I think it better that I just copy the text of the message received as it details all the factors behind the bet. The prices quoted in the email have all been available when I checked them, so no fiddling going on there.

The only point I need to highlight is that on a few of the less common betting markets it is better to just go to the Bookmaker’s site quoted in the email as it can be tricky to navigate to the correct market on Oddschecker and when you do finally find the right page you find that only one or two of them actually quote a price.

If at any point I find that prices quoted in the email are different from those I can find available when I check, I will of course make a note of it and record the bet at my price.

Enough with the intro, here’s the advice received so far:

FRIDAY 20/9

Friday’s NAP comes from the Austrian Erste Liga where it has been raining goals since the start of the season.  Home side Horn have a remarkable goals record in that their last 15 competitive matches have all seen 3 or more goals.  This season their 9 league matches have produced a staggering 42 goals and all 9 of those matches have broken the over 2.5 goal barrier.  Of greater interest, 8 of those 9 games have featured 4 or more goals.  Visitors, and league leaders, Altach are not quite as prolific although their away record reads W2-0, W4-0, W1-0, L1-5, W4-1, W4-0.  Over 2.5 goals is a best priced 1/2 and both teams to score is a best priced 9/20.  However, given these goal stats there is more value to be had in backing over 3.5 goals @5/4.

Friday 20/09/2013 Austrian Erste Liga

10pt win with Bwin or 888Sport

Horn v Altach over 3.5 goals @5/4 LOST (0-0) -10pts

Daily P/L (Day 1) -10pts

Running P/L -10pts

SATURDAY 21/9

Plenty of action on Saturday and our NAP comes from the encounter between Morecambe and Dagenham & Redbridge.  Morecambe are on a fine run winning their last three games by scores of 3-2, 3-1 and 2-1.  They have scored 5 goals in their 3 home games so far this season.  Dag & Red have conceded 10 goals in their 4 competitive away games this season, on all but one occasion leaking 3 goals.  Morecambe look highly likely to score in this fixture and the 13/10 for them to score two or more rates good value.

10pt win with Coral

Morecambe v Dagenham & Redbridge total home goals over 1.5 @13/10 WON (2-2) +13pts

Another side who look good for goals are TNS from the Welsh Premier League.  They kicked off the season with a 6-0 home win and have returned results of D2-2, W3-1 and W4-0 away from home in their last 3 games.  In their last five home encounters with today’s visitors Bangor (my local side) they have scored 6, 3, 5, 3 and 3 goals.  It’s 11/10 for the home side to score 3 or more.  Bury host Southend and enter this match on the back of 3 away losses and 5 goals conceded.  They are stronger at home and should find the net today.  Southend have scored in each of their 3 away games this season.  Both teams to score is a decent price @8/11.

5pt double with Sportingbet

TNS v Bangor total home goals over 2.5 @11/10 LOST (2-0)

Bury v Southend both teams to score @8/11 WON (1-1) -5pts

Finally, the Betfred Goals Galore Coupon offers great value @9/2 this weekend.  All the stats point towards goals in these games and this treble is generally around the 10/3 mark with all other bookmakers.  Definitely worth a couple of points.

2pt win with Betfred Goals Galore Coupon (both teams to score)

Norwich v Aston Villa LOST (0-1)

Swindon v Bristol City WON (3-2)

Port Vale v Coventry WON (3-2) -2pts

Daily P/L (Day 2) +6pts

Running P/L -4pts

So as you can see we got off to a losing start but the thought processes and reasoning for the selections made do seem pretty sound and I have high hopes for this service. We made 6 points yesterday and were a Norwich missed penalty away from hitting double figures.

Free Trial

What’s the best way to know if a tipster is genuine and profitable?

That’s a question I’m asked all the time.

Proofing is good, but frankly you can’t trust 100% of review sites, so make sure you only follow those that have steered you straight in the past.

But better than proofing is the tipster that let’s you try their service for free.

A free trial will give you time to paper trade (or place small stakes bets) so you can see not only how profitable the service is but also how easy it is to get the bets on and to match the prices that the tipsters claims.

Today I have exactly that, a 1 month totally free trial of a service that has proofed 181 points profit over the past 67 days.

Secure your place here.

The service comes from a guy called Nick Hardman, who I first heard of earlier this year and who has been proofing his goal market bets to Betting Insiders members since July 11th.

To say it has gone well would be an understatement.

With 181 points profit in just over 2 months Nick has lived up to the hype.

Nick started out like many of us as a horse racing bettor, but over the years he’s used his huge brain (He’s actually Dr Nick Hardman PHD) to determine the very best places to bet.

The ideal criteria being markets that…

- Have strong liquidity
- Are highly predictable
- And that slip under the radar of bookmakers, market makers and the betting public

The result is Nick Hardman’s Goal Market Profits.

Goal Market Profits assesses one of the most predictable aspects of football betting in matches where the big bookies are under resourced and prone to making pricing errors.

Today you can try Goal Market Profits for nothing, nada, zip, zero pounds and zero pence.

Here’s the link, register your place now before the doors close on this great opportunity to get started on the path to football profits.

http://www.cash-master.com/GoalMarketProfits.php

Did I mention that it’s free and there are limited places?

Today’s bets are already online and waiting for you in the members area, registration will take a minute, maybe two.

Gaffa Tips

With no US golf tournament to report on this week I’m able to publish the weekly results a day early. Sadly, things have not prospered this week. It seems that the recent poor showing in golf tips has led to a much smaller number of selections for this week. Unfortunately, even they did not fare well.

Selections this week centred on World Cup qualifying matches in football and the European Masters in golf. Whilst no major damage was done to the bank there was a further small loss on the week of £3.30.

F: World Cup Qualifier : Friendly: Double: Germany : Brazil: 1.67: win £6.70
F: World Cup Qualifier: Win: Mexico: 1.40: lose £-10.00
F: World Cup Qualifier: Win: Uruguay: 2.75: win £17.50

Gaffa Tips

The Deutsche Bank golf tournament in the US finished yesterday rather than on Sunday (to take advantage of the US holiday) hence the days delay in posting results.

We did get a full set of selections this week for both football and golf. Unfortunately, the results that went with them were disappointing. For another week there was an overall loss and the progress to date is somewhat discouraging. Having said that there is always the potential for a big boost to the account if one or more of the accumulators that are sometimes advised come in. However, we have to stick with the here and now so on to the weeks results:

Gaffa Tips

Today, I would normally be posting the results for this service for the football and golf selections advised. This week that won’t happen as I haven’t received anything from the owner.

I did email on Friday to see whether anything had been sent but as of yet I’ve not received a response. If anything does turn up I will put a comment on this post to record the fact. I won’t report the results as they weren’t with me before the events took place.

For the record:
