Winning Trainers

The month has now ended on a bit of a downbeat, with an overall deficit of 18.5 pts. However, from the results of some other services as well as this, it seems that December has not been a favourable time for the horses and with the odds range which this system pursues, a winner, when it does come, tends to make quite large gains. The other side of this coin, obviously, is that the strike rate is not high and therefore one’s expectations need to be managed. By system standards, the price per month is very low and I feel that it is quite a reasonable offering.

In the last couple of days, the author has increased the value for money by providing a free bot which loads and places the bets automatically and Graham will be continuing the trial with this aid. This is good, because I think this system is worth an extended trial and I didn’t want to fail it anyway – I would have gone for a Neutral rating, pending more experience with it. Graham will be able to give it that.

BestLays

A big list of selections on Boxing Day, 33 no less. However, these were reduced to 26 by odds limits and non-runners and they unfortunately suffered another heavy loss of 11pts.

However, this morning, Mich changed the odds filter somewhat and it had an immediate effect, pulling back 7.4 pts by nailing 9 losers from 10 qualifying selections, a much improved strike rate. It also had the welcome effect of providing less selections. He informs us that had we been using this odds filter since the start of the service in October, we would now be showing a profit of 91pts instead of 35. December has been poor, but although we are currently showing a deficit of 19pts for the month, I am hopeful that we will see much better results from now on.

Since this is now almost a new service, I’ll keep reporting into the New Year, hoping that it is indeed a Happy one – which is what I wish you all.

My wish for this system was at least partially granted yesterday, when, out of 9 qualifiers, 2 won at decent prices and three others placed at good odds, netting 17.75pts towards the deficit of 24.5. Another day like that would see us well into profit. Unfortunately, today didn’t oblige, we ended the day 0.8pts down, not too serious. There’s still time to bring this service back to at least break even, not the worst result in a month of poor conditions.

The Bet Plan

Further to the last update, I have re-set my rachet bank to £200. I know that some will not be comfortable compounding the bank and placing very large bets as the bank grows, so I am also going to show results to level stakes as well. This would have produced roughly 100 points profit in 2011.

I re-started on boxing day, and there were 6 bets, 4 which won. I am going to update on a weekly basis.

ratchet bank start : £200, current bank £236

level stakes profit +3.6 points

If anyone needs info on how the ratchet bank operates, please email in

Merry Christmas

I’d just like to wish all our readers a very Merry Christmas. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all the Cash Master reviewers for their hard work over the last year. They do it all entirely for free and I’m sure you can appreciate that it’s not an insignificant amount of time and effort required, and I for one am very glad to have them on board sorting the wheat from the chaff so you don’t have to.

Have a nice break today (if you’re not working) and look forward to an exciting and profitable new year.

All the best

Graham

We still haven’t found another winner with this yet, the last two days have offered just three selections, one of which managed to place. This left a loss of three pts overall, so the running total deficit is now 24.5pts. Just one good winner at decent odds would clear this, so that’s what we must hope for in the next week.

Unfortunately, the hill got steeper in the last two days with the selections disappointing us and moving the month into negative territory for the first time. However, we are not too far gone to be beyond recovery with a couple of good days, so the next few days when racing resumes are critical.

Our £100 starting bank currently stands at £80.51p.

In the last three days, we have had 26 selections which fitted below our top limit of odds. The fact that 12 of these were winners would always be of some concern to a laying system, but even worse is the fact that 8 of them occurred today out of 13 selections, the worst day I can ever recall seeing from a laying system on test. However, I am regarding this simply as averaging of results, since we had a day recently where all but one of the bets lost, so hopefully, the situation will right itself. However, this day’s loss of over 17pts has almost wiped out the previous good return for this month, so there is a bit of a hill ahead to make something of December.

Three selections have qualified since 17th December, all three were unplaced, so cost us a further 6pts, leaving the running total of losing pts so far, of 21.54. Not much point in quoting a strike rate for this yet.

Quick Trade FX

Our trade from yesterday did not trigger and todays range was below 15 pips so no trade. Very quiet start to the trial but in profit and happy. I will run the trial until Friday and then will resume after Christmas at which point i think we should run this throughout January before drawing any conclusions. That said I am still very excited about the method, it wont make you rich but it has the potential to add a very nice £1k a month at £10 per pip stakes.
