Longshot King

Further to my comments on this service, here is an example of the sort of information you get with todays tips. This is re-printed with permission.

2.00 LUD CREDIT SWAP 10/1 EW Looks to be very favourably treated and with the favourite being put up a further 7lbs ours election looks really well handicapped. A mid 80′s rated horse on the flat and a winner of The Cambridgeshire means that we have a horse with a touch of class. Is really taking a drop in grade here and although latest bare form figures do not look appealing should be able to take up a good position before making a move between the last couple of flights. Its last two runs have been off marks of 119 anmd 121 in higher grade but goes here off 115 with a 5lb claimer on board

2.10 SEDG SOUL BID 10/1 EW This is a weak handicap but this ones rating of 105 first time in a handicap looks very attractive given its 4th of 15 behind a 145 rated rival who went on to complete a four time and then finished third next time in a Class 1 juvenile event. Soul Bids last couple of runs have been over two miles but it has looked in need of a step back up in trip and looks overpriced here

6.10 WOLV BIVOUAC 8/1 WIN and ROSEWOOD LAD 14/1 WIN Bivouac looks really well treated in its form over extended trips and todays rating of 73 is the same as the last couple of runs but they have come over trips that are way shorter than this optimum of 2 miles. Travelled well but got outpaced at the business end last time and if we take its run at Southwell last year behind Recession Proof then we have a really well handicapped horse over the trip. Is actually 3lbs lower than when winning over this trip at Southwell last year.

Rosewood lad is just a fairly handicapped horse at the moment but the two miles around here has seen it run some of its best races. Has run here four times….winning twice and finishing second on the other two occasions. Goes today off 70 and yet has finished a very close second here off a pound higher mark and another that looks a fair price.

Longshot King

This service has produced 98 points profit since my last update and so it’s been another cracking year for Longshot King with a total profit of 301 points for 2011, which is £7,525 at £25 level stakes.

If you don’t use this service already then you should seriously consider adding it to your portfolio this year. As a member you get access to a members area where the tips are uploaded each day, plus they are e-mailed straight to your inbox. You get around 2-3 tips a day and, as you would expect, they are high odds selections. So there’s not much work involved and it’s good fun as you can cheer on your horses and watch them win at impressive prices.

Of course with long shots like these you will get losing runs, but most months come out with a healthy profit and every year has produced a very good return.

A nice, simple level staking backing service that produces excellent profits every year.

Bet4mula

WEEK 10 – [END OF TRIAL]

Although Christmas has now passed for another year, one final thing that I have now decided to ‘wrap up’ is Paul Morris’ Bet4mula tipping service.

This you may recall is a service where Paul advises selections that are suggested by a computer program. His program carries no bias or opinion, and are a pure mathematical entity that suggest value selections on which to place bets.

Of course , you do not get a copy of this computer program, the selections link is emailed to your inbox daily and in good time for you to peruse the market – generally between 8 and 9 in the morning. The selections instruction is clear and advises how many points to place, bet type (win/each way) and away you go using your preferred BOG bookie.

According to the Betfan website where all the system results are published – this particular tipping service appears to have only been running since October and its results are currently showing a profit of 186 points which, I am sure you will agree is pretty exceptional – this figure given a significant boost during December. (133 of these points were achieved from 23rd November when the system filers were changed slightly, so it would appear the tweaks are working in its’ favour).

Herewith this weeks results :

(28th  Dec:-9pts / 29th Dec : +56pts / 30th Dec : -11.2pts)

TRIAL SUMMARY / Points Profit

Week 1 : +61

Week 2 : – 31

Week 3 : -14.71

Week 4 : -27.15 (filters changed part way through this week)

Week 5 : +7.25

Week 6: +64.23

Week 7 : +42.64

Week 8 : -20.40 (only 4 days racing over Xmas)

Week 9 :+ 61.61

Total Points Profit : 143.52 (during trial)

Selections : 259 / Wins : 64  / Strike Rate : 24.7%

From these results one can only give this service a cheery thumbs up!
But ‘hold your horses’ before you get clicking to sign up – we must consider a key factor using this particular service and that is the subscription cost. The first 7 days are charged at £9.99 as a ‘taster’, if you decide to continue with the service,  you are required to sign up to one of the following tariffs…

a) weekly  : £34.93

b) 4 weekly : £111.72

c) 12 weekly : £269.10

My trial of this service was using a base stake of £2 / point – the service can advise selections at 5 points, meaning a maximum stake of £10 to win or £10 each way (ie. £20).    So, using stakes at this level – the profits made cover the subscription cost leaving a a few quid pocket money left over depending upon the tariff choosen.
So, I guess as with most tipping services – this is really a service that will only possibly benefit those accustomed to placing reasonable stakes , what the trial results show perhaps £4 / point or more, would  make this service definitely worth your attention.

If the software keeps pumping out the winners at the same steady rate, from the trials results shown, this is one for your  portfolio.

I am trying this service from Matt Bisogno, which targets what he calls the Super Trainers. From my first day, it seems there will be plenty of selections to follow and although he doesn’t pretend to a high strike rate, the odds at which he chooses to bet should give a decent return as long as there are a few winners.

I don’t propose to report each day, with the likely strike rate it will need time to breathe so I’ll report every few days. Today, we had 14 selections, three of which didn’t make the qualifying odds and of that remaining 11 we had 10 losers. However, the one winner came at 8/1 so the deficit was only 2 pts. Let’s see how it goes.
