Hi,

Three races covered yesterday, but only one produced a result – although there were several “near misses” on the other two races.

Ascot 1620 – no bets.

Haydock 1735 – no bets.

Wolves. 1930 – 1m 6f – Hcap – 12 runners.

Double Banded      – Lay, as favourite at 2.84 odds – finished 3rd.     Profit £100.

Bold Adventure      – no bet – finished 1st.

The Chip Chopman – no bet – lost – this just missed a Place lay, due to too high odds.

Red Wine              - no bet – lost.

Adage                   – no bet – lost.

Profit total £100.

Hi All

Firstly my apologies for not putting up the post yesterday. So I have listed Wednesdays & yesterdays results here. Although I haven’t been around live for some of these races (where I put SP & guessed odds) I am confident that these would’ve been qualifying lays. Anyway here’s the results & updated profit/loss figures:-

Wednesday

Red 2.10pm Tiger Dream 1.67 – Won (horse lost)   +£9.50 (£10 stake)

Good 4.05pm Kirklees 1.73 – Lost (horse won)   -£10 (£10 stake)

Perth 5.25pm Irish Raptor 2.00 – Lost (horse won)   -£20 (£20 stake)

Kemp 6.20pm Ballora SP 8/13 (1.70-1.75) – Lost (horse won)  -£30 (£30 stake)

Loss for day = -£50.50

Yesterday

Font 3.40pm Levit’ski SP 4/6 (1.75-1.80) – Lost (horse won)  -£50 (£50 stake)

Another loss of £50 on day

Bank = £919.90.

We have hit our longest losing run so far of 4 & halfway through our staking plan which has a maximum of 8. Next bet will be for a stake of £80.

All being well I will put up next post tom & hopefully catch as much of the racing as possible to monitor qualifiers especially with our current losing streak.

All the best

Jason

Racing Investment Formula

Hi,

Not another good day today re selections.     There were 4 near misses as a result of just missing the odds movement criteria or high lay odds.

Fontwell 1610 – 2m 4f – 8 runners.

No bets.    3rd. favourite Fieldsofclover just missed selection by too high odds for a Place back bet.   It lost so the odds criteria was working.

Pontefract 1620 – 1m – Maiden stakes – 10 runners.

No bets.     The favourite Downhiller failed selection for a lay bet by a whisker due to insufficient odds movement.   It finished 2nd., so maybe the system was working again as it could have easily finished up winning the race for a loss.

Perth 1600 – 2m – Hcap – 11 runners.

No bets.    None of the runners produced any decent odds movement.

Fontwell 1640 – 2m 6f - Hcap. – 10 runners.

No bets.     3rd. favourite Mistified just missed selection for a Place back by a whisker due to high odds.   It came 2nd.     Iron Maid also just missed selection as a in Back win due to very slightly high odds & just short of odds movement.   It came 1st.

Perth 1630 – 2m – Hcap – 12 runners.

Jacaranda     – Place back – lost -   -£100 loss.

Kristiansand  - Place back – finished 1st.  -   £70 profit

No bets for the remaining runners.

Overall a loss of £30

Racing Investment Formula

Hi,

Of the 4 races selected yesterday none of them produced any results.

I purposely picked a race with only 5 runners, as the odds movement requirement is slightly less in some respects to the races with a  higher number of runners, but even that fell on stoney ground !

One runner did qualify on odds movement as a lay bet, but the odds were far too high.

Better luck today perhaps.

Racing Investment Formula

Hi,

Results of 4 races on Monday 24th. September.

The layout has been changed slightly to exclude the odds movement, as the odds must move in line with the Weight of Money; and a win/lose profit figure is the net profit for each race based up on a £100 bet.    The number of runners plays an important part in selection.

Kempton 1550 – 1m 4f - Maiden stakes – 9 runners.

Tropical Strait       - Place back – finished 1st. – net profit £170.

Coastal Command - Win back  – lost             -  net loss   £100.

Bukit Tinggi          – no bet     -  lost

Hesivorthedriver   –  no bet     -  finished 3rd.

Sri Kuantan         -  no bet     -  finished 2nd.

Leicester 1600 – 1m 2f – Claim stakes – 8 runners.

No bets on any of the runners.   The favourite Birkside, which won the race, should have been selected as a Lay bet but lay bets are only made on Handicap races.   Saved a loss bet.    Divine River, which came 3rd., should have been a selection for a Place back but the back odds were too high for selection, according to the criteria.

Hamilton 1610 – 1m 3f – Hcap. – 14 runners.

Elopement      – Place back – finished 1st. – net profit – £330.

Tiger King       – no bet      – finished 2nd.

Star of Angels – no bet      – lost.

Robbie Scott   – no bet      – lost             – possible a Lay bet but odds too high -went from 12.5 to 48.

Fadansil          – no bet      – lost.

Kempton 1620 – 6f – Hcap. – 10 runners.

Hucking Hill      – no bet      - finished 2nd – possible Lay bet but odds too high.

Crystal Gazer   – Place back – finished 1st. – net profit – £350.

Buckie Massa    – no bet     – lost.

Golden Desert  - no bet     - finished 3rd.

College Scholar – no bet     – lost             – possible Place lay but odds far too high.

Total Loss – £100  & Total Wins – £850 = Total Profit – £750.

Racing Investment Formula

Hi,

Apologies for the delay in getting started reviewing the Racing Investment Formula.   Here in Andalucia we have just had a 30 hour long thunderstorm which took out 3 or more substations in our area leving us in the mountains with no electricity.   Were finally connected sometime during last night.     As we have had no rain at all since last mid April I suppose it all came at once !

However, on to business.    This system is basically related to the Weight of the Money, so beloved by odds traders on the betting exchangers.     The system has a simply operated piece of software wherein the odds taken at a half hour before the race of at least the top 4 or 5 favourites; then the odds are entered again 1 minute before the off, when the software makes the final calculations.

Depending upon the results calculated by the software, further manual criteria is applied for you to decide whether to Back Win, Back Place, Lay, or Place Lay, depending upon the number of runners and whether the race is a handicap or not.

Sounds a bit complicated but it is all broken down and laid out in the instructions.

I have laid out the initials of the runners, results of the odds movement, back/lay decision, and race result.

Races for Thursday 20th. Sept. – 2 handicap & 2 maiden stakes :

Pontefract 1430 – 1m 2f – Handicap – 11 runners.
