We had a winner yesterday. I suppose it was expected with such low odds. It’s almost the minimum allowed for this system, which is 1.5. At least the liability isnt too bad so hopefully we will make this back very quickly.
Todays stake doubles to £11.16 so if it loses it will be profit for the day and still make up a little profit from yesterdays loss. I placed my bet a little earlier today, about 7:30am. Fingers crossed.

Hi,
I have run this system for one month and kept strictly to the selection criteria. There have been 82 races in total covered. In 50 of the races the runner selected Lost – giving a winning lay selection. In 32 of the races the runner selected Won – giving a losing lay selection.
Of the 32 runners the average odds came out to 2.6.
Taking a figure of £100 per lay per runner at an average odds of 2.6 gives a total liability for all of the 32 runners of £5120. Taking the same £100 for all of the winning lays gives a total profit of £5000, producing overall loss of £120.
Comments: I feel that the selection criteria was a little too simple. The runners selected were all favourites or near favourites – many were odds on which is pushing the system to the limit’s, but possibly part of the system was taking into account that on average only 30% of favourites win their races.
Would I buy the system ? I think not, but by tweaking parts of the selection criteria it may well be possible to run the system at a profit.

Hi,
Yesterday Musaalem was a no-runner in the Leicester 1600 race.
That left the only other selection:-
Windsor 1730 - Swankey Lady - Lost (7th.) (winning lay).
The basic evaluation of this lay system will follow tomorrow.

Ahh good! Yesterday my selection did get matched and it lost. I placed my bet just before 9:00am as I said I was gonna do and there was money in the market so I didnt have to worry about getting matched during day as it happened straight away.
Of course using the stake plan this has almost recouped my loss so today I back to a 30th of my bank, which is a little less than what I started with my last stake before a loss. Strange stacking plan if you ask me but I’ll stick to it during the test. If I happy with the system and continue to use it I’ll probably tweak the plan slightly to improve profits.

No Selections. There was a possible selection this evening but when I went to put a bet down it dropped in odds to close to the favourite.

Yesterday I had the same problem as the day before. There was very little money in the market and again there was none on the laying side of the columns so I used the backing column figures to work out my selection. I put my price in one point (this time at 3.2) above the current back, which was 3.1. Unfortunately my bet didnt get matched again. When I looked during the day the price was above 4.0, which is well above the price range for this system. Again the horse lost so it was the right choice. I’ll also add this horse to the strike rate.
Obviously I trying to place my bets too early. The system rules are to place the bet before 9:00am so Ive been doing it around 6:00am plus or minus half an hour. I think I’ll start running the system just before 9.00 from now on as Ive missed two profitable days in a row and this will allow some money to get in the market.

Hi,
Friday selections were a disaster:
Newcastle 1420 – Alan Devonshire – Won (losing lay).
Doncaster 1610 – Broomielaw – Won (losing lay).
Newmarket 1825 – Centennial – Won (losing lay).
An interesting point is that for the Newmarket 1725 race both Nezami & Timetable failed in the selection criteria – but the horses came 4th. and 2nd. respectively.
Only one selection today Sunday 19th. August:
Bath 1430 – Hobson – 3.5 odds.
