Malcolm has done a video showing how to set up the Grey Horse Bot for using the free Supersonic Lays selections.

The system did have it’s first loser a couple of days ago but the 10% reduction factor recommended saved us from it. Even if we had not used the 10% reduction factor we have covered that loss and made a little more from the matched selections since.

You can leave the bot to run 24/7 and the tips are automatically loaded on each morning. Another excellent ‘set & forget’ betting strategy.

Using a 10% liability, the profit now stands at an incredible £40,163.38 from a £500 starting bank on 1st March. Full results can be downloaded here:

KIP Betting Bot

As of yesterday my KIP betting bot hit the £1000 profit mark since July 1st. I bet at £20 level stakes and don’t do anything, I just leave the software to run 24/7, betting for me.

I’m going to increase my stake to £25 today in line with the steady increase in my betting bank.

There is a new release today of Kip 2, which is an upgrade to the bot. The main improvement is with the results update and there is a box you can tick that stops the bot betting on the next race if it hasn’t had the result from the previous race. This is only important for people using the recovery staking option, which I don’t use.

There is also a % of bank staking option included as well.

There is a problem with this new one though. I can’t get it to run on my VPS! It runs fine on my PC but just freezes on the virtual server.

Darren Power is having the same problem on his so if you are already running KIP on a VPS I recommend continuing with that one until this issue has been resolved.

Beaten Females

WEEK 6

Less than a handful of females actually qualifying for selection purposes. Of the three selections for this week – the first won its’ race suffering our first loss in a little over three weeks. The bank is still well held in profit to withstand this knock though. This being a laying system, is the type of hit we must expect from time to time, however, if they remain this infrequent the system should make some good progress.

06/10/2011  £-192.81

07/10/2011  +£29.65

08/10/2011  +£31.06

Beaumonts Bets

Time for an update on Beaumonts Bets.

Quite a lot has happened over the last few months since the service started. Paul makes his money by backing value horses, which means they are priced higher than they should be. There was a problem initially with members being able to get the same prices as Paul because, when he gave out the tips, the prices had already steamed in quite a bit.

To address this problem, Paul now gives the tips out in three separate e-mails throughout the morning. This means that members are now able to get the same price, or pretty close, to what Paul is getting when he places his bets.

Even more recently, Paul introduced Google Docs as an additional feature. This is an online spreadsheet that members access and Paul updates it as he places his bets in real time. This means, anyone viewing the document can get on the bet at the same time as Paul, and this really has solved the price issues.

But that’s not all. One of the things that a few members had trouble with were the numbers of bets and potential draw downs on any given day. It’s been known for Paul to make 100 points profit in one week, but also give 100 points back to the bookies another week.

This isn’t a problem for anyone using the recommended (at the time) 200 point bank. But what became apparent was that a lot of people simply couldn’t handle those kind of draw downs, possibly because they were not using a true 200 point bank, but also no doubt because it’s difficult for anyone except the most seasoned gamblers to handle that sort of thing.

So on July 20th, Paul implemented a plan that wiped out the big draw downs completely whilst still maintaining a ridiculously high profit margin. The plan was simple. All you do is back the selection in the morning at the early price and then lay off 75% of the bet on Betfair just before the off. There are bots that can do this for you too.

This means that by using the 75% method, you only ever risk one quarter of one point per bet. That’s £2.50 if you bet £10 stakes. This also means the recommended betting bank is more than halved to 80 points.

These are the results using the 75% method:

July 20th-31st: 11.71 points

August: 88.98 points

September: 95.55 points

You can get the full breakdown here:

http://www.beaumontsbets.com/results/

Bear in mind that any service that can average just 10 points profit in a month is a superb service.

Now let’s put this into perspective. Using an 80 point bank, Paul DOUBLED it in August and again in September. At £10 stakes that’s £889 profit in August and £955 profit in September. And remember, with a £10 stake you are only actually risking £2.50.

If you are serious about making a living from betting then you should give this some serious consideration. It’s not going to stay at £30 a month for long.

These are probably the most profitable tips you’ll ever use:

Russell Gibbs Service

Nothing much to report on the Russell Gibbs service in September, and I suppose after the last few months it was time to have a consolidation.

There was a small profit on the Laying side of the service of £85 at BSP or around £160 if you managed to get the earlier prices.

A small loss on the backing side of the service with -£81 at advised prices to £10 stakes.

So overall, if you got the early prices then there was a small profit but generally it was around breakeven for the month. This is horse racing though and to be expected. Let’s hope for a more profitable month next month.

Full Time Betting Income

I was unable to use FTBI during the holidays, in fact for most of the six week school break, so for the sake of consistency I’ll report on the Betfair SP results (which are less than what I and other actual users had been getting).

So where are we at with this system now that it has been running for four months?

Well, the figures don’t look good at the moment. If you remember, the idea is to turn a tiny £200 betting bank into £30,000 over five years. You spend five minutes a day placing one or two bets and if the system works the way it’s supposed to, as shown over the previous years, then the power of compounding works it’s magic and you’re laughing all the way to a luxury holiday in St Lucia with a regular five figure income going forward.

At the moment though, it’s looking more like a camping holiday in Skegness is on the cards.

After four months the £200 betting bank is at the dizzying heights of… err… £127.62.

You may well be wondering why I haven’t firmly booted this system into the FAILED bin with any other system that performed this ‘well’ over four months. Well, the reason is this.

Right from the start Chris, the author, has been at pains to point out that this must be viewed as a long term project. In fact, he makes a point of showing you one particular year where the betting bank went into the red for nine whole months before recovering and making a profit in the last three months of the year.

So to be fair to the system, I’ll run this for at least a full year and see where we stand. If, after a year, it looks to be doing what it’s supposed to then we may be onto something  here. If it doesn’t then at least we gave it a fair crack of the whip.

IB GAMING

FINAL REVIEW of 2011

As some of the more frequent readers amounst you may know I have been trialling for the blog Ian Broughtons IB Gaming system. Fundamentally, this is a flat racing based selection system  that  BACKS long priced horses.

Seeing as the flat racing season ends today or thereabouts, I figured it is time to conclude my findings.

Last year this system made a stunning  436 points profit in 3 months. Unfortunately, the system trial that I ran made nothing near to this level of profit and I have been  running the system for the full season May-Sept.
Most notable this year, was  Rileys Crane on8th June at Yarmouth that ran home well at BSP of 270 –  £2 staking that I have been using, returned £538! This was however, the shining star of all winners this particular season.

Selections : 1,827

Winners : 107

Strike Rate : 5.9%

Overall P/L  : 55.5 pts

This is a profit. However it is a very modest return for a solid 150 days worth of staking…. and to put this into real perspective, were it not for the significant return on Rileys Crane – we would actually be facing a loss of approx. 179 points.

This has  disappointed me,  I had hoped for great things on the back of last years shining story but this is horse racing after all , which as we are all aware is often unpredicatable. I think this is simply one of those years that things were simply not in our favour. So, I will give this a ‘hesitant’ NEUTRAL rating for now. If reading this, you may think that a return of 55 points is fair over the timeframe considered then do buy the system. The selections are quite easy to determine and once practised you will have it down to a matter of 10 minutes or so to work through the daily race card.

As an alternative to manully working through the daily racecards, you can subscribe to HorseRaceBase ( a fantastic racing database IMHO better than Adrian Masseys now defunct website), and automate the selection process, having the selections emailed to you. (This is a real ‘pleaser’, I can tell you!)

I will be watching closely next year…..

Magic Racing Bot

Another month on, now three months into this, more or less, and there’s not a great deal to report again. It is making a profit, slowly, but I suspect Betfair will make more out of this than I will.

They made a slight change earlier in the month and decided to exclude Saturdays, as it was showing big losses on these days, so I hope this exclusion will make a difference over time.

The bank did reach a new high of £648.26 and I’m now showing a total profit of £199.39, although for three months of betting every day this is hardly ground breaking.

Still, it requires no effort on my part, running quietly on  my VPS, and I guess if it only made £500 in a year it would be worth it.

Original Bank: £403.12
Bank High: £648.46
Current Bank: £602.51
Stake: £8.65

Profit: £199.39
