There were no selections between last Sunday and Thursday. So the reason for an absence of posts was the lack of selections and not me sneaking off for a quick holiday.
I received an email this morning stating that in view of the poor recent results the free trial would continue indefinitely. On that basis, I think it only fair that I carry on with this trial beyond the thirty days.
There were four selections on Friday, one was a non-runner and two were in the same race. As there were only four runners I took the route of discretion (being the better part of valour) and avoided the race. However, neither selection won and so, if I had exercised less discretion, the bank would be £19.00 higher. As this is a test and subscribers were given the option, the choice was limited to laying both selections or avoiding the race, otherwise I would have taken a serious look at dutching the other two runners to see which approach represented the best value.
Saturday produced two selection, both of which were winning lays, though at odds well over 10/1.
