With each bet you are given the name of the bookmaker(s) offering the best odds. As mentioned in a previous post, I always check these when I receive a tip to make sure the prices quoted are available. This week one of the bookmakers advised was Betfair. I was very pleased to see that the odds advised had been reduced by 5% to allow for the commission payable. As always, I did check the price was available and checked the maths to make sure the correct reduction had been made. It all checked out perfectly, so that is a good sign. There are a few concerns I have about this service that I will cover in the final write up (nothing too damning) but I really did appreciate the transparency of the Betfair odds.
