There is evidence that people are still struggling with the scalping method, but I think it is slowly coming together. It certainly isn’t a race, and ForEx does take a while to learn.
I am in hospital for routine check-ups Friday and Monday so I am blogging this week’s data early. I also missed Tuesday as way too much distractions here to trade. Decorating nearly completed, and a new bed Thursday next week then I should be able to concentrate properly.

Week 3 total: 123 pips for £1,230 at £10 per pip, or £176 using Roz’s stake plan (40 pips per day, 4% risk and a £1,000 starting balance) . Next week using Roz’s stake plan I will trade at £1.61 per pip.
Overall total: 514 pips for £5,140 at £10 per pip, or £609 using Roz’s stake plan.
Usual caveats apply:
Trading ForEx is discretionary; I’ll see trades other people won’t and miss trades that they take. We all read the market differently; therefore your results will be different from mine. Further, I am experienced trader with over 4 years experience. Although I try my best not to colour my trials with this experience it is impossible to remove it completely.

RUNNING BANK £129.98
25/1 Equatorial v Senegal (-0.5) £10 @ 1.76 (ladbrokes) LOST -£10
RUNNING BANK 119.98
I now face a bit of a problem. As you know I emailed the author asking for clarification on the staking after a loss as it appeared he doubled up and then it got tricky to work out what happened next from the results blog.
I did receive a reply but it only really raised more questions than it answered as it bore little resemblance to how results appear on the blog. Graham has now passed on a copy of the new Staking Plan that was put up for sale earlier this week and it appears that the reply I received is only relevant to that method. This causes a further problem as I can’t really run a blog test using that for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it’s not part of the basic service you purchase (it’s an optional extra at a cost) and I want the blog to reflect the basic service you receive for your initial outlay. Secondly, as it is a separate product I can’t just openly give the rules away and if I blog the results here it’ll be extremely easy to figure out the whole shebang.
I will just say that the Staking Plan is an agressive loss recovery system that will probably boost your profits considerably for a decent length of time and then a terrible run will hit and the losses will be very damaging to the bank. These types of plans can (at times) be good but where it is extra dangerous (my opinion only remember) is the odds range we’re working in here, 1.6 – 2.00. All tipsters and systems go through a bad run, it’s part of the game you have to accept, and a bad run does not automatically mean you have a bad tipster but it’s how you survive that counts.
So what I have decided to do for this trial is to keep the level stakes bank running as it is and to now (after last night’s loss) start a Recovery Bank based on how it appears on the owner’s blog results, which looks to me to be £10, £20, £30.
I hope you can understand why I’m doing things this way and in writing this entry I hope you can see that there’s no intention to manipulate results or profit/loss levels, I’m trying to be fair to both sides. It’s not an ideal solution but it’s the best I can come up with. At least we’ll be able to see if the service can provide a profit at Level Stakes and if that is the case then I’d be all for using it that way.
