Wednesday 29th April

I had a couple of e-mails from readers that had a qualified trade on the EURUSD on Tuesday morning that I didn’t get. The trade showed as qualified when I checked it the next day but it wasn’t there on Tuesday. I had a problem a few months back with one of my charts not showing PTP’s and it was fixed by refreshing all the charts. Since the chart moves along as normal and shows all the normal data, it’s difficult to tell if the chart isn’t showing PTP’s so it might be prudent to manually refresh the charts every hour or so.

Also, I noticed my EURGBP 10 minute chart wasn’t showing any PTP’s at all so I closed out that chart and opened a new one and that fixed the problem, shame though as it gave me a loser first thing:

Then a winner:

And another winner:

One more winner:

And then another winner:

But then, unfortunately, another loser on the EURGBP that only just qualified before the 3pm cut off:

It’s looking increasingly likely that I will be ditching the EURGBP pair for scalping. One reader has been keeping a detailed spreadsheet of all the pairs we use to determine the best scalp/stop levels and to see which pairs perform better. He has already mentioned that whilst EURGBP does produce a profit, it may not be enough to warrant the effort.

TTT System

Day 1

folks, I have scrubbed the results I collected for 29th Apr as, re-reading the rules, I noticed I had mis-read and mis-applied the rules. So I will start again today.

One thing I did notice, however, is that it didn’t take as long as I feared to find suitable candites. About 40 minutes yesterday and this included time taken to setup the spreadsheet.

Decent enough profit today with level stakes, but the two losses in the middle of the day did the damage to the staking plan option.

TTT System

Hi Folks,

along with the “Place Lay Formula” I am going to look at the TTT System.

Very simple manual of 81 pages, over 90% of which is given to providing system results to back up profit claims for the two staking plans included.

The system appears to be a straight-forward dutching system for 3 selections. However, it also appears to require every horse in every race to be evaluated. If this perception is correct then I suspect that the system will be very time consuming. I will endeavour to supply details of how long it takes me to find selections.

Further, although not something that can be followed the night before, it can be followed anytime after bookies post their early prices or first shows. So, if not too time consuming, this may be a system that can be applied during a lunch.

Two staking plans are provided with the system, I wil blog both.

The system prefers you to use “first show” prices, but, to provide some consistency of results I will use SP. Please recognise that this will probably lower the returns as “first shows” are often higher than SP (I think!).

As stated in “Place Lay Formula”, I have some real life issues and may not be able to blog every day, but the target is to do just that.

I will start with a bank of £1000 per stake plan, and will bet 3% of the current bank each race (stake plan 1) or start of betting cycle (stake plan 2).

Nailed On System

After a break of nearly a month (thanks to holidays and Tiscali), at last I am able to resume the blogs that I previously started. I would like to thank both Steve Carter (Quick On The Draw) and Ian Morris (Betting Vault Membership) for their patience with me during the delay.

System A:

Bookmaker SP: £0.00 (Total to date: -£41.17)
Betfair SP: £0.00 (Total to date: -£34.99)
Number of winners: 0 (Total to date: 5)
Number of selections: 0 (Total to date: 14)

System B:

Bookmaker SP: -£10.00 (Total to date: £53.33)
Betfair SP: -£10.00 (Total to date: £79.62)
Number of winners: 0 (Total to date: 33)
Number of selections: 1 (Total to date: 54)

The system does not allow selections on the flat turf until May 1st, and stops jumps selections at the same time, so things will be a little quiet on this system until the weekend.
