For the last 13 weeks I have been keeping my eye on a horse racing tipping service – A Racing First. For £39 per month or £99 for the year you get an email containing the selections or access to a website. The service has been going since 2005!
“The chance to make a second income by getting on the end of some serious information provided by our network of contacts from across the country.
We have an extensive working history within the racing industry, having been an integral part of Europe’s largest racing empire. We at A Racing First now want to share our considerable knowledge, judgement and experience with you.
We don’t bet every day, but when we do, you want to be on!”
Each selection is researched well and has a summary justifying the selection. Here is an example from Friday 14th may:
“2.15 Newmarket – Good Birthday (e/w) – 11/2 William Hill & Paddy power, generally 5/1
Whilst he was a little disappointing on his return, his trainer suggested afterwards that he perhaps wasn’t as fit as he thought for that race. The visor on the first time could well also help bring back a little of his old spark, as he was a very progressive, high class handicapper as a 3yo rated 98. Now down to just 84, he’s handicapped to win and also has a nice pull at the weights from last season with today’s Fav from Newbury in September.”
After a rough start the service has been producing many winners to both advised prices and Betfair SP and ended up 18.79 points up to advised prices, that’s £187.90 at £10 per point and easily covers monthly and annual subscriptions. Betfair ended 19.41 points up, £194, so is a viable alternative to using Bookamkers. These are to level stakes and without BOG.
