I have received the following warning from John at Banker Bets:

I’ve just gotten word of a spam email going around promoting a horse racing service calling itself Banker Bet Investor. Because of the similarity in name and the fact that whoever’s behind it has blatantly ripped off the Banker-Bets logo, I want to state unequivocally that this “service” has nothing whatsoever to do with me. While the fact that they’ve used a name very similar to mine while also ripping off my logo is huge red flag that something nefarious is in play here, there are other warning signs as well:

1) They claim to be in their third year of operation yet have no website for this service and a google search returns nothing.

2) Claims of big profits but no published results.

3) The only links found in their promotion email are to submit payment.

4) The promotional email comes from an address associated with a domain that was just registered a few months ago and has no associated website (the url just leads to an empty page).

So if you have already or do in future receive a promotional mailer for Banker Bet Investor (BBI) please know that despite the similar name and same logo that it has nothing to do with me or Banker-Bets and is very likely a scam. Personally I’d immediately unsubscribe from their mailing list by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of their email, though perhaps I’d tell them to “&#*% off!” first 😉 Enjoy the Weekend! John Baker
