Well an interesting first day for the test. In the system it shows the results for laying £25 per bet but I thought I would play it safe and go for £5 stakes for this month just to get a feel of what the system is capable of without risking too much. The maximum lay in this system is 8-1 which is a bit high for my liking but thats the system.

The problem with laying at 8-1 is that if you get a horse actually win at that price you will have just lost the profit gained from the last eight bets. Not a problem as long as long term the system makes a profit but if you were betting manually then this would be very frustrating. Today I watched the bot do it’s thing all day and it picked out twelve races to lay. I was pretty impressed as the first eleven lost taking me up to £55 profit on £5 stakes but typically the last selection of the day won it’s race and, you guessed it, at 8-1.

That’s the name of the game though and it still left me £14 up for the day. I think for the remainder of this test I’m just going to switch it on and not even bother to look at it until the end of the day because at least then you are pleased with what you’ve won instead of disappointed with what you lost. I can’t imagine how anyone would want to sit there all day doing it only to see their profits have great chunks bitten out of it from time to time… but if I can resist the temptation to check on it during the day then even if I made £10 a day to £5 stakes that would still be £50 a day at the recommended £25 stakes and so worth doing with the bot.
