A very good week indeed for this service.
A couple of losers knocked us back a little on Saturday but we’ve still made 8 points profit since the last update.
Thankfully, the winners we did have were free of the dreaded Rule 4 nastiness. Our win bet strike rate is just a touch under 50%, which is excellent but is not realistic longterm. We’re bound to hit a correct period soon but I’m really pleased with how the trial is going so far.
Further to last week’s praise of the honesty and fairness shown by the service, we had a day where the prices changed very quickly (again) and a small error (wrong course named) had been made on the original selection email. When the correct details were provided they included a note that the lower prices were now being kept for their records. I had already noted down the bets and obtained the original higher prices, so my bets reflect my actual results rather than the lower ones recorded by the service. Didn’t take a great deal of working out that an error had occured, the race times were correct, so I quickly found the relevant bets.

Hello, does the prices of the selections go down a bit?
It could be a good service to do back-lay on Betfair.
Regards
So far, the majority of win selections have gone off with a significantly lower SP than the price we took the night before. Only 1 has been improved by a BOG offer and that was only 7/4 increased to 15/8
Because we’ve been betting almost exclusively on Irish meetings, there’s not much money around early on and the prices do go fast.
It may well be suitable for a back to lay as the majority of our selections are fairly short, so don’t take massive movement to go odds-on.
Probably only good to back and lay if backing with bookies as no liquidity to back on the exchanges. Pretty pointless though as you’ll get bookie accounts closed down having made much less profit.
