System Review Report

Dodgy Favourites gets the thumbs up from me. We have covered the selections over the last 37 days and have produced just over a 10% profit to level stakes.

What I like about Dodgy Favourites, is that we are looking at favourites that offer a value lay bet. The reason they are value is because most punters are expecting the selected horses to win. Not just because they are favourite, but because they have the form that many punters would look for in a backing system, and hence the prices generally come in lower than they should be. This all works well for Dodgy Favourites, because we are now laying under priced jollies, getting value, and winning consistently in the long term.

Paul mentions on his web site that the stats for the service/ system are as follows: –

  • No dangerous lays only Racing Post favourites
  • Strike rate 77%
  • No need to watch live racing
  • Place bets before going to work
  • Average losing bets less than 7/4
  • Selections emailed each morning
  • ÂŁ8,333 profit at Betfair odds in 259 bets
  • ÂŁ32.17 average profit every bet, win or lose
  • Average of 2 bets each day and ÂŁ416 profit a week

I havent checked if these figures are up to date or not, but looking through the past history on his web page, it does show as correct.

I will incorporate Dodgy Favourites in to my own portfolio of lay systems, and would go as far to say that this is one of the better lay systems on the market, so thanks to Paul Fowlie.
