I’ve just found out that the Football Bets service are running a January sale whereby you can get two weeks access for £1 so that you can test out the service for yourself risk free (they’re promising to refund the £1 too if you wish).

We tested Football Bets in November 2010 and gave it a Neutral rating because it did make a profit but we felt it was for the more serious punter who is happy to bet £50+ per point in order to cover the subscription costs and still make a decent profit.

Having said that they do appear to run a pretty decent service, employing three soccer betting experts, two of which were odds compilers for bookmakers and the third is an ex player and ex manager who compiles his own soccer ratings.

The service is showing a profit of £12,600 since November 2009 betting at £100 level stakes, which is a very respectable return.

If you’d like to try it out for yourself to see if it fits your style of betting then you can get the January discount up until the end of the month, so until this Monday.
