    I have signed the petition, written to my MP and completed the online survey. I would recommend that everyone who reads this blog does the same. The measures being proposed would be disastrous for sensible recreational punters, and represent a real threat to people’s liberties and privacy from an interfering nanny state. The more people who lobby against this legislation the better. It seems like the rules are being made by people who know nothing about intelligent punting, and who are categorizing everyone who bets as a potential victim.
