Week#3 (28th July – 3rd August incl.)
Another dire week LAYING the lowest rated selections, but (much like last week), yet another profitable week if BACKING them!
NOTE : Start balance in both cases £1,000 & a losing lay is a winning bet for us!
==============================================
LAYING TO £30 LIABILITY STAKES
Weeks P/L : £ -209.86
Current balance : £400.74 (£599.26 loss)
Strike rate : 73.5% (147 losing lay bets out of 200 selections)
NOTE: (laying to £10 level stakes would be showing a £1,061.33 loss!!!)
LAY Results breakdown by ‘race type’
FLAT : £-437.45 / NATIONAL HUNT: £-235.43 / ALL-WEATHER : £+73.58
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
BACKING TO £10 LEVEL STAKES
Weeks P/L : £ 369.15
Current balance : £1,866.34 (£866.34 profit)
(Note : in calculating these BACK figures, for convenience I have simply used the LAY price,
so this would need to be factored into the figures for a slightly more representative figure)

Interesting how the backing figures are working out so far. I imagine
this is partly because the odds are higher than if backing the first or
second horses ( which as you said in previous comment would be a huge amount of work) . A punter posted his results on another site , where backing around 2000 horses May/Aug produced roughly £140.00 profit did not
mention stakes though. A lot of work for a small profit. Maybe the way to go (if backing ) is to set a profit target and get out when ( an if ! ) reached.
Be interesting to see your results this week.
