I start with an apology, I forgot that I was supposed to be looking at Newmarket Message, a horse racing tipping service. Fortunately I had kept the emails, and together with Ian at Wider Horizens a spreadsheet of results from 1st January has been pulled together. So this is a longer review than usual being 4 ½ months instead of the usual 3.
“We have secured the services of a Top Contact within a couple of Newmarkets biggest and best racing yards, as well as a shrewd gallops watcher who has reliable contacts across the town.
The tips provided by Newmarket Message are directly from our highly sourced contacts, who ride the horses in their gallops, watch the other stables horses work, speak to their fellow work riders about horses in the yard and know exactly what to back, and as importantly, what not to back.
It’s that simple, information directly from source… Almost straight from the horses mouth”.
The service has two tiers of subscription: £19.99 per month or £129 for the year. For this you get a daily email, or you can take tips of a website. The selections come with advised odds, but you’ll have to use an odds monitoring service to find bookmakers offering that price. No staking plan is advised so all bets where to a total of 1 point with one 2-point exception and a 4-leg Trixie where each leg was 1 point. Here is an example of a recent email:
Advised Early for Saturday:
3.00 Newbury, Bay Bridge – win at 4/1
Impressive when winning at Newcastle & has come out of the race really well. Considered a good deal better than his rating of 90 and has a Group 2 entry at Royal Ascot. He’s expected to run a massive race at Newbury tomorrow.
Additional Bet for Saturday.
7.35 Doncaster, Beau Jardine – win at 2/1
A really nice type who won impressively for us last time. He’s work is of a very high standard and he’s considered to be a good deal better than his handicap mark.
That is an impressive performance; 30.86 points up to advised odds and 28.54 points up to Betfair SP with a 2% commission. At £10 per point that is £308 and £285 respectively easily covering both monthly and yearly subscription costs. Remember this is to flat stakes.
Ian (Wider Horizens) tells me this was one of his best performing service last year and this form has continued into this year. I have no hesitation in approving this service.
