I have tried to compare my results with the official PIPJet results, but they have not been updated since 27 July.
OK, either PIPJet doesn’t work on a spread betting platform (I am using Alpari) ; when the official results get updated I’ll be able to confirm whether or not my platform is missing trades. Or, as this is August, we are in the midst of the slow-trading holiday (vacation) season and there is nothing to trade; again I’ll be able to confirm this once the official results are updated. I suspect that the lack of updates is because there simply has been no trades.
** Edit – support ticket raised as, as you can see from Kieran’s comment, there has been some trades in the last 2 weeks.
** Edit 2 – a quick response and, hopefully, a speedy resolution. I have back-tested using MT4 Strategy Tester to provide data for weeks 1 and 2 now shown above.
Arthur – I have been using pipjet too, I have had 3 trades in the last 2 weeks – all won very small amounts as they were closed off without hitting the stop loss or take profit. I am up £4 on £1000 using the recommended settings.
Then. something is wrong. I’ll contact support. Thanks.
Dear Arthur
Can you explain the profits total based on the pip results, as I assumed we were using £10 per pip?
Regards
Leslie
Yes, I need to adjust the profits to the standard £10 per pip.
Arthur, what was the resolution as my results fall way short of yours now. I am using an Alpari Spread Betting account?
It won’t work on Alpari, the spread is too wide overnight. I switched to GKFX and started to get some trades. I have accounts with both.
