Towards the end of last season, I suspended the trial on this system as I believed that the results were not a true reflection of the system’s performance.
I was correct.
Three weeks into the new trial and the results are much worse than the end of last season! 3 total blowouts this week (Extraliga, Finland and Switzerland) to add to last week’s blowout in Germany.
Still, the big boys, the NHL, join this week. Given the NHL’s performance on the first trial, I have little hope that the NHL will rescue the situation.
It is only week 3 however, and it is unfair of me to make conclusions at this stage. So the trial ploughs on, for now.
