I decided we should look at another product from Tipster Warehouse, The Racing Gold service, which offers 4 or 5 backing tips every day on the UK and sometimes on the Irish horse racing win and place markets, the selections are sent to your email and arrive each day by 11.00am (UK time), I started the trial on Friday 01/11 and have received all my selections up to now on time.
There are no hard and fast rules for this service, they do recommend using Betfair for placing your bets and having a starting bank of 100 points. All bets are to level stakes, with the advised amount on each bet being 1 or 2 points. There is no progressive staking or chasing losses. I used Betfair as I’m in Australia and the UK racing runs during the night (my time), so I also used a bot to place the bets on both markets with all bets being placed 5 seconds before the off.
The selections can be a win only selection betting 2 points or a win and place selection betting 1 point on each, there is no progressive staking. Our original starting bank was 100 points and after our last review at day 41 the bank stood at 51.87 points.
The following results for the Racing Gold Service is for the period 12/12/13 – 01/01/14 inclusive, there were 18 betting days and 3 non betting days for the Christmas holidays.

After 59 days we have lost our starting bank of 100 points. I know you can have up’s and down’s with any system, maybe our trial period has covered one of those down periods and it could pick up again, but I’m still not convinced of the value of placing a win bet and a place bet on the same horse as shown in the results without a high strike rate you will lose money.
This service did show some positive results before the trial, but I’m going to have to place Racing Gold in the “Failed” category.
