Over the next few weeks I’m going to be testing another laying system called “Stat Attack”. This system is from the same author as “Lay The Place”, which has also been covered on this blog in recent weeks.
Stat Attack is actually 3 laying systems in 1, and each “sub system” could effectively be treated as a standalone system in it’s own right. For the purposes of this trial, I’m going to lay selections produced across all 3 sub-systems.
Below is a brief taster of what each system entails:
System 1 – “Top Of The Pile”. This system is concerned with laying certian horses in handicap races. The maximum lay price is 7/1 (8.0)
System 2 – “Winners 2 Losers”. This system lays horses in all types of UK races, and concentrates on those runners that have performed very well recently but are unlikely to win next time out. The maximum lay price is 7/2 (4.5)
System 3 – “3 Milers”. This system only applies to UK races of 3 miles or more in distance (i.e. effectively National Hunt races). It looks for horses satisfying certain criteria that makes it very difficult for them to win over the distance. As with System 1, the maximum lay price is 7/1 (8.0)
Selections can be found very quickly using any daily paper that covers racing, and since the only thing that needs to be checked just before the off is the lay price (to ensure that it’s less than the maximum), the system lends iteself very well to being automated with the Grey Horse Bot. I will be using the GHB during the trial, with a starting bank of £1000 and £10 level stakes. Note that I will not necessarily be covering all races each day. Typically I will cover races that finish before 4:30pm, and possibly some evening races.
Yesterday I had one matched bet:
2:35 BEVERLEY Bocciani (5.00) lost, £9.50
Current bank: £1009.50
