Golden Key 2 Final review
I stated when I started this trial that I would only be giving Golden Key 2 a quick two week trial to confirm that the profit potential reported for Golden key still held. It does!
Golden Key is a very simple system, but does take some effort, around 30 minutes per day. If you work you will need to top-up this effort by loading a bot such as GreyHorseBot (https://www.cash-master.com/greyhorsebot.php) to place the bets for you, or you spend the rest of the day placing bets. There is an additional overhead in managing several bankrolls.
The headline figure of £5, 623 in two weeks is achievable, but not for long. Making this sort of profit will have your betting activity flagged very quickly. But even using £10 base stakes, a profit of £500+ in 2 weeks is not to be sneezed at! Another note of caution using £100 stakes; my biggest loss was £1,300 on a betting exchange and you need to be able to cover this. OK, the way the system works, that bet did not lose anything approaching this figure, but still…
The new method generates less profit, but removes much of the stress too. The headline figure for the same two weeks is £1,701. However, there is a huge benefit to this new way of operating Golden Keys and that is you can make all the bets in one place, no need to shop around across multiple bookmakers. So if, for example, you placed all your bets on an exchange like Betfair the headline profit increases to £2,248 to £100 stakes. Unlike the original system, this remains achievable long-term too. Even to £10 stakes, £225 in two weeks is none too shabby. The final benefit is that you don’t need to cover losses of £1k plus and therefore can be operated with a modest bankroll!
One final word of caution; you can be betting on upwards of 50 selections per day. You need a bankroll  that can cover this many selections. At £100 stakes this is going to be tens of thousands (I think!) for the original system, the new system, if kept to one provider, needs considerably less bank to operate.
I hope you understand, this system is difficult to review without giving the game away. I have to be suitably vague on many aspects. The system does work, but unless you are Roman Abramovich the original system at ÂŁ100 stakes is probably beyond your means. The new method of managing bets is possible though and I feel easier to operate, so I am happy to revise the neutral given in my original review and give this a positive rating. Unlike the original system, I will be adding this to my betting portfolio too!

End of trial review of “The Golden Key”.
This review is going to be awkward to write for 2 reasons: I don’t want to give the game away, and I blow hot and cold on this system.
Firstly the system has made a profit; ÂŁ247.00 in 31 days using ÂŁ10 stakes, almost doubling the bank. This is rather good. This is an average of 0.80 points per day. This has also been achieved through a period of awful weather and more than a few abandonments.
The author suggests not taking bets above 15, my data verifies this as the bulk of the profits came in the range 5.5 to 15.0. However, removing selections whose odds are below 5.5 decreases the overall profit, so it is not recommended that you adjust the filter beyond the authors recommendation.
The authors claim of little risk has been born out. There is a nightmare scenario that could seriously damage your bank, but this should be a very rare event (if ever) which can, I feel, be safely discounted. Unfortunately I cannot expand on this scenario without giving away the system.
This is something you could do in your lunch break, but not before (I mostly got my selections 11:30 to noon). Once I got in to the swing of things, a racecard took about 5 minutes to analyse; so a normal lunchtime analysis would be in the region of 15 to 20 minutes. However, if only betting during a lunch you would need to setup a “bot” also, and this will extend the 15-20 minute span. You will need to put some time aside for evening races.
E-mail support appears to be good from the author.
I do, however, have some concerns/niggles.
If you have a “bot”, you need to set your stake to cover subscriptions. If you don’t have a bot, you need to be at your computer for every race where you have a selection. You cannot afford to miss a race as this will punch a hole in your profits.
You need several pots of cash, and one quite large one. You need to manage these separate pots, which is a hidden overhead of time, but this can be done in your leisure in the evening.
There is a limit as to how big your stake size can be. Dont look at the point size and think “I’ll play this for ÂŁ100 per point”, I don’t think it will work at that level. Realistically, I think the maximum would be in the region of ÂŁ25 per point. Even then, you risk having to use LOTS of different credit/debit cards. So, this system is only capable of generating a smallish, if regular, income.
I don’t like selecting a winner which then looses you money! This is more a personal psychological objection because if you keep an eye on the big picture, the system made a profit!
I don’t like that this system throws up different selections depending on the time off day you do the analysis. Fair enough, over time, this evens out, but I cant help feeling that I have missed some of the very opportunities the system is supposed to identify. Another problem with my psychology!
Do the negatives outweigh the positives? I could easily mark this as a thumbs up as the system doubled the bank in a month. However I ask myself one question, “will I add this to my portfolio?”. Firstly, not without a bot (for example GreyHorseBot). Secondly, the several pots of cash and pot management is enough of a negative for me not to proceed with this system.
In the end then, this is neutral for me, but, if you are happy with the negatives outlined above, and none of them are that major, then this would be a positive for you but only as part of a portfolio. With that said, I’m happy to approve this.
