One of the nice things about this service is that there is a commentary given on the previous days runners. Even if selections aren’t winners it’s nice to know what has been learnt:

Another frustrating day for us as Dubious Escapade, who we can safely say did out ran her price. In fact for those of us who took the 25/1 BOG with Paddy Power we were within a head of of landing a nice 40/1 each way bet. Such is the fine margins in this sport. At least you didn’t take the 50/1 that was available just before the off like i did, just to compound the misery. Here are the Racing Post’s race analysis of our two Thursday selections:

Ayr 4:40 – Dubious Escapade ” through to challenge up the far rail 2f out but began to tire near the line, on ground softer than ideal” – The filly ran an absolute cracker but the gas ran out sadly for us a few yards from the line and she was unable to hold onto third.

Kempton8:10 – Neighbourhood “moved well for a long way under a prominent ride but he couldn’t sustain his effort. This was a respectable run but he is a much more potent triple winner from six starts on Fibresand and is 0-11 on Polytrack – In decent form and one to note at Southwell. I wont be backing him on the polytrack again! So to Friday and the start of really good weekends racing at York and Newmarket on Saturday. Given the poor flat turf racing we have had to endure this week. The Friday card at York looks a class affair and my selections come from that meeting.

16:40 Ayr: Dubious Escapade(EW): 4th at 49.48 = £-20.00
20:10 Kempton: Neighbourhood: 4th at 5.7 = £-10.00

Daily Total: -£30.00

Running Total: £930.00
